Chương 19: 19. Gathering The Named Cards III
#A/N I just checked my early chapters and found some mistake with the grades so I will post it again for the readers who already read this novel before. The grades is Iron, Lead, Bronze, Silver, Gold, Diamond, Platinum, Methinum, Ultrinium, and Titanium.

"Congratulation Gin! It's a silver grade card right?! It's my first time seeing a test from an ownerless card. What kind of test did you have to clear?" (Mirai)
"Don't get to excited, Mirai. It's just some kind of mental attack test, not to hard nor to easy, just normal."(Jin)
"Hey Gin! Go and open that silver chest now, I want to see what inside please." (Mirai)
"Why are you so excited, are you a child?"(Jin)
"But that's a treasure box you know! This is my first time seeing a real treasure box so of course I would be excited." (Mirai)
"*Sigh* Alright, alright let's see what's inside." (Jin)
I went to open the silver colored chest together with Mirai behind me and when I open the chest, there is some kind of starlight effect that comes out from the chest.
Mirai eyes sparkled when she saw this beautiful sight, it made me realize that in the end she still a 15 years old kid so it was not that strange for her to get excited like a kid does.
While Mirai still busy with those sparkling lights, I went and checked my gain from the silver chest.
Inside I found 3 cards, 2 of them were a +4 spirit card and a +2 all attribute card, while the last one was a silver grade artifact card with an amazing ability.
[Call Of Pegasus] - Artifact

Skill : Gust Hack - Sent a sharp gust of wind that deal 50% of power to an area of radius 2 meters with the pegasus as the center point.
Well, I want the double speed buff but if I think about my current situation, it would be more ideal to summon 100 pegasus rather than using the speed buff.
Though the double speed buff is the better choice move together as a big group, it still cannot compare to a horse speed.
I will probably divide my soldiers into teams again later on to search the fortress whereabouts so the double speed buff will be useless at that moment.
But if I summoned 100 pegasus, I could give them to my soldiers and increase their searching speed many times than before.
The pegasus also a lead grade follower so they are naturally stronger than my iron grade soldiers and they will even upgrade to bronze grade in a month time which will be a huge increase of power in the late game.
So I decided to summon the 100 lesser pegasus later after we got out from this place.
It didn't take long to retrace our steps and got out from that place and start to travel again toward east.
When we got outside, I summoned the call of pegasus artifact and choose to sacrifice it in exchange for 100 lesser pegasus.
Surprisingly Mirai didn't get excited this time when she saw the pegasus and when I asked her about it, she said that she already seen those kind of rides a lot as a lot of families on earth use them for transportation mean when they got matched in an exploration type of game.
Anyway after I'm done summoning the pegasus horde, I used the other cards that I gained from the silver chest and raised my spirit by 6 points, bringing my total spirit to 75 with 15 spirit left to use, barely enough to summon my newly gained named card, Penelope.
After I summoned her, she immediately hugged Kirika and Gotia, then some time to talk with them.
Anyway, since I will ride 1 pegasus together with Sil, another one for Penelope and Kirika, and Gotia got to ride 1 alone, there still 97 of them left.
Ah I almost forgot about Mirai, so there should be 96 left.
Each pegasus ideally could support 2 person so I assign each pegasus with 2 soldiers and I retracted the rest of soldiers that didn't got any ride back to cards.
So my current summoned soldiers count has drop down to 192 men and plus with 100 pegasus, I have 292 summoned followers now.
I retracted more than 100 soldiers and I will summon them again later when I reach the place where I will start our last search.
After that we started to march toward east in a fast pace. While we were riding, I put Mirai in the middle of our group and tell her that it was to ensure her own safety.
After that I moved to the front together with Sil, Kirika, Gotia, and Penelope.
"So since you already gathered all 3 of us, are you going to get the last one of us now?" (Penelope)
"Hmm? Do you mean about the last gold card? I heard that there are 3 silver cards and 1 gold card hidden and scattered in the most difficult rookie stage like this one so I have been aiming for that from the start if you curious." (Jin)
"Uhm... master, actually you're wrong on this one." (Gotia)
"What do you mean, Gotia?" (Jin)
"Well, actually all rookie game matches always have 3 silver named cards and 1 gold named card hidden and scattered. It's just that to enter the area that hid the gold card, you need to gather all three silver cards first but the catch here is that one of the silver card hidden location is located at a very secretive place that won't be find so easily." (Gotia)
"Well, you're not completely wrong master since this information will only be known to the people that gain at least 2 silver cards from their rookie match and the higher the difficulty of a rookie match, the easier it was for the players to find our location." (Penelope)
"Damn, if I need to search this hard to find that temple in the highest difficulty of this rookie match, then I can't even imagine how hard is it to find at the match with lower difficulties." (Jin)
"You already gathered all three of us so you don't have to think so much about it. Rather than talking about that, let's discuss our strategy to defeat that monster." (Kirika)
"Hmm? Is it okay to talk about the gold card? Didn't you said before that the game system forbid you to talk about this topic?" (Jin)
"It only applies to the other silver cards location, once you gathered all three of the silver card, you also gain the access to the last gold card information and for why the game system allows that is because we need to make a plan first to defeat the last boss." (Penelope)
"If you are wondering why then the answer is because the last boss which the last hidden gold card possess a very high might. If the three silver card battle with the last boss without any plan or so, then they will 100% lose." Kirika said with a smirk, perhaps thinking about something naughty.
"Then if I use 2 gold cards to battle with it, it should be an easy victory right?" (Jin)
"2 gold cards? Do you mean the combined power of lady Silvanaz and the three of us? I would say the chance of us winning would be higher but there still a chance that one of us three will die since the last boss power were enhanced by the system by 50%." (Penelope)
"Don't think to hard about my words. It's simply as I said, the combined power of 2 gold cards would be enough to defeat it right? Don't tell me it have some kind of last resort skill to obliterate the player that challenge it?" (Jin)
"There's no such thing like that master. Wait, what level are you right now master? Do you mean you have another gold card beside lady Silvanaz?" (Penelope)
"You didn't notice? The girl you are riding with is gold grade now." (Jin)
"What?!" (Gotia&Penelope)
"Aww... Why did you spoil the fun~ It was hilarious to see them act like that you know." (Kirika)
"Kirika! Why did you tell me!?" (Penelope)
I look at Gotia and his mouth was wide open completed with his baffled expression caused by the shock from the news I just dropped.
"Calm down Peni~" (Kirika)
"How can I calm down, you are a gold grade card now! We are talking about being a gold grade now!!" (Penelope)
While I let Kirika handle her two friends, I asked Sil about why they made so much ruckus from hearing the news about Kirika increased grade.
I mean there are 5 higher grades above gold grade after all.
"Master, it's because most of the players in this game only know 7 grades of cards at most. There are many information about the game that were hidden by the higher ranked players to decrease the chance of more rivals showing up." (Silvanaz)
"Wait, if that were the case, then how did you know about all of this?" (Jin)
"Actually before my world fell and I turned into a card, my world is part of the higher ranker organization, but we lose in a war against another high ranker. For someone like me to appear on your backyard was akin to a miracle master as people with high rank like me before their end usually dealt by the system to only appear in the high realms as well." (Silvanaz)
"Maybe since my whole life was full of unluckiness, my luck were piled up and that's how I luckily met you." (Jin)
"*Chuckle* Perhaps... After all no one knows where fate lead us to." (Silvanaz)
After that, we kept talking about various topics about the higher realms while the trio still busy talking about Kirika grade.
After riding for 5 hours, Unexpectedly we met a group of 3 good looking players on the way.
We were moving through a narrow valley so unfortunately we could't by pass the group that came from the other side and were forced to stop.
All three of them were different from the 'commoner' players that I have hunted before.
They wore high quality looking clothes and armor or maybe artifacts, their follower also emit strong aura not lower than how Kirika used to before she become gold grade.
There are 2 guys and 1 girl in that group. From the followers that stood close to them, one of the boys probably a part of the Mechajin faction with that robot like follower standing behind him.
As for the other guy, he had scales covered some of his body parts and even dragon like wings at his back so the best guess I got is that he is part of the Dragonor faction.
The last girl had a small looking fairy sitting on her left shoulder while a lady with a deer like horn stood beside her which make her obviously part of the Naturia faction.
As I was trying to gauge their strength, they also did the same to me.
As we were gauging each other strength, Sil who sat in front of me whispered to me that except for the horned lady, their other followers are not a match to her.
In another word I could still took care of them easily with the combined power of Sil and Kirika.
If I add Gotia and Penelope in roster as well then it would be an easy victory for sure.
Since Sil already given me her sign, I didn't waste any time and immediately ordered them to attack the opposite group.
Just when I had finished given my order, the dragonized looking guy shout out to me.
"Wait! Can we not fight each other and talk it out like a cultured man? I mean isn't it better to make more friends than making more enemies?" (???)
I pondered his words for a while before giving him the 'ok' sign for the talk.
Together with Sil and Kirika, we walk out from our group and while all three players went to meet us without their followers.
"Alright, you have my attention now. What do you want to talk about? Maybe it was about how much you want to pay me for your life?" (Jin)
"Bold words, still that makes you a better candidate now." (???)
"Since you realize you can't win against me using power, are you pitifully trying to win with words now?" (Jin)
"Wew... What a sharp mouth you have there buddy. Calm down bro, I'm getting to it." (???)
"Stop playing around and do it properly, Gazel!" Said the girl from their group.
"Alright, alright. Well, to start our important talk here, I will kindly invite you to our group of commoners with a goal to overthrow the current stupid noble rankers."(Gazel)
"What do you mean by that?" (Jin)
