At breakfast, a similar scene played out to the day before. Rune was seated next to Rienn, with Neria on his other side. Today was a bit different, though, as Serac had returned from wherever it was he had gone last night. He had taken the free spot next to Rienn, essentially trapping them between both parents.

Luna, Shiro, and Fleur were seated opposite to him and Rienn at the table. Rune had expected the former two to be irritated by the way they were being separated, but while Rune could sense a slight bit of irritation from them, more than anything, it seemed they were just finding the whole situation to be a bit awkward.
