After Netero's conversation with the clan chief he left to take his first mission, something that Netero, who was a soul from another plane, knew that leaving without proper preparation was stupid, for that reason he always trained in secret and kept some of his abilities hidden.
He had tried many theories with chakra, in some years he made some theories and attempts to create jutsu of his own, first he tried to think how an energy made of physical and mental union could generate so many effects, he theorized that ninjas could shape and give characteristics to the chakra, in short, the chakra did not turn into fire, it only simulated the effects of this element, hence why skills that absorb jutsu cannot absorb natural elect.
Netero had an affinity with the element of lightning and ying, he theorized that the ying element was due to his soul coming from another world, now at fifteen he planned to develop both his individual body and his clan, he knew the fate of the Uzumaki and not wanted them to suffer the same fate, even if he has to fight three nations alone.

They were on the road leading to the capital, and at that moment Netero smiled, four chakra signatures, he looked at his companions and made some signs, seeing their worried look he decided that this time he would fight alone, his companions tried to protest , but Netero left no room for discussion.
Quickly he pulled out a kunai and put himself in front of the caravan, he deflected a flurry of shurikens that came towards to kill the horses, Netero does not rest made hand seals and then used the jutsu, [Earth Style: Earth Wall], and made a wall that separated him from the rest of his companions who were supposed to protect the caravan.
From the shadows four figures emerged, black hair and eyes, quite cold and hostile faces, but what gave their identity was the fan symbol on their shoulders, these were members of the famous Uchiha clan, famous for scarlet eyes, and fire jutsu. Netero now knew he should be on the lookout.
"Tsk! Just a brat? Is the Uzumaki clan getting arrogant now?" What appeared to be the leader and eldest of the four said annoyed as he looked at Netero.
Netero in turn just shrugged without caring, he knew these four were at least Chunin level, he couldn't underestimate them, but his enemies seemed content to underestimate him, this would be his first life-or-death battle.
Netero launched two kunai towards the Uchiha, they didn't raise their guard much and one of them simply deflected the kunai with his own, this was just a distraction because at a breakneck speed Netero appeared in front of him, without giving the Uchiha Netero time your blade on your neck. The three watching this were bewildered, taking advantage of this Netero used another speed boom and managed to hit another one's throat, the remaining two seeing that they had already suffered heavy losses walked away.
The two ninja curse their selves seconds ago for underestimating their enemy, they made a rookie mistake against an obviously new ninja, they couldn't even show their faces in the clan easily after that.

The real battle would begin now.
