Chương 5: 5. The Black's
Time is a forgotten concept to me now. I don't know how long I have been in this darkness.
Slowly the walls began to close in on me. It's no longer nothingness...
I can feel myself being tightly bound...it's too hard to be in this tight place. I feel like crying. I think it's been so long since I was in this nothingness I almost forgot who I was several times. But my repeated apologies to everyone kept me reminding them. It's getting hard to remember but I don't want to forget them. I would definitely remember however hard it may be.
So instead of repeating apologies I started reminiscing about everyone and everything. As time went on I Slowly but surely repeated every memory I had...and every important person...
Mama...
Papa...
Brother...
Sarah...
My family...
My readers...
Mikel...
The girls...
I remember now...
Am Lydia... ly... I died!!!
I don't wanna be in this tight place anymore...
wahhhhhh.... I wanna go home... wahhhhh....
I started moving restlessly... and tried to feel my legs and hands... I moved with so much effort that I started feeling tired... no I can't give up. I gotta get out of this place. Whatever it might take. So I pushed, I kicked, I stretched and finally I was in a bright place and I felt like crying remembering every single thing...so that's what I did.

What the hell??? Why does my crying sound like a baby's??
Who cares!! Just let me vent it all out.. so I cried and sobbed for a bit and grew tired and fell asleep. So I missed the people and conversations around me...
" Mr. Black! Congratulations. It's a girl. Both mother and child are safe." , the nurse handed over a sleeping baby to her father,who gladly took her with tears of joy.
" the mother is awake if you would like to meet." Without further delay he rushed into OT...
"Dear!! How are you feeling. The baby is so cute just like you." Spoke Adis Black with joy all over his face...
Rosa Maybel, wife of Adis black a gorgeous lady in her early 30's, smiled upon listening to her husband. Even Adis is handsome in his late 30's. He can be mistaken as an idol if he were to walk on the streets.
"You must be tired. Take a rest dear. I will be here" ,He gently placed a kiss on her forehead and placed the baby close to her. The ward boys moved the stretcher to a private ward.
A few hours passed by...
The baby woke up with hunger. And let out a cry. After her hunger was satiated she again fell into deep sleep thinking about her previous life, still not understanding that she had been reborn.
In the evening Adis brought Ron to see his little sister...
Ron came to bed in little steps and saw the new baby, his sister who was so small with wide eyes. The baby was still sleeping. So he placed a silent kiss on her forehead and looked at his mom smiling.
"Mama... what shall we call my sister?" Asked Ron.
Rosa glanced at Adis for a suggestion...
Adis wore a small smile on his face and uttered
"Alicia Black "
