Chương 4: Soul Instability
What was once a great planet that harboured powerful Devas was now nothing but wreckage. The surface was devoid of anything, rocks, sea, buildings, corpses, there was nothing but emptiness. Even the planet's core had been destroyed during that massive discharge of energy.
The only thing left was a massive rock where a transparent cocoon lay on. The cocoon was also pulsating with golden energy and inside it, one could see a white haired kid laying with his eyes closed.
He would occasionally twitch his eyes and his body spasmed, sometimes he would open his eyes and scream in agony before he passed out again.
Genzo observed all the changes that were happening, from the planet's destruction to the kid who was currently discharging energy waves and he could not help but had a disturbed expression.
'' Bloodline awakening shouldn't come with this destructiveness, not even the Damon clan members '' He murmured while gently trickling his fingers over the sword on his shoulder.
'' And this familiar aura, wait..'' Genzo's heartbeat raised when his thought reached this point. '' Someone should tell me that he is not one of them ''
He brought out his communication device as many thoughts went through his head. '' if he is really one of them then this is a big matter, let me call him''
'' Is the kid with you already? '' The voice giggled.
'' About the kid..''
'' You've also noticed huh? ''
'' You mean you knew all along '' Genzo cursed under his breath.
'' Of course, why would I tell u to drop your current mission to bring back a kid even if he is of Lulach's descent '' The voice sounded as if he was talking about the obvious. '' And one last favour please, take him under your wings till he grows ''
The communication device made a beep tone which signified that the connection had been cut off.
Genzo knew that there was no point arguing with the other person, that was just as good as wasting his time. He waved his hands and a thick black metallic wall that had lightning traveling across it materialized and enclosed Zeralf who was still spasming.
He made another call and not long after, a spaceship got to his position. He flicked his finger and the sparkling metallic cube which held Zeralf vanished and appeared inside the spaceship, he followed after and the spaceship zoomed off.
'' Location sir. '' The pilot asked reverently.
'' Central Cluster, Planet Majhr. ''

Zeralf was in a halfdead state and his consciousness was in a golden dimension that was devoid of any other thing apart from himself.
'' Am I dead? ''
'' Did pappy kill me too? '' he trembled when he reached this conclusion '' What about Momma, she needs help. '' The flashbacks of the scenes that happened before he collapsed entered his mind and he screamed.
In the outside world, the metallic cube vibrated as the energy it contained threatened to spread out.
'' Even this is not enough I guess. '' Another metallic wall fortified the existing one and this time around it was black lightning that zapped through it. The energy was suppressed instantly and even the vibration stopped.
'' Hmph! You're not even a Deva yet, to dare make this Throne use this much power, you had better be ready. '' He said with an annoyed face.
'' Sir we have a problem''
The pilot's voice brought Genzo out of his thought.
'' And? ''
'' Three space pirates groups are besieging our ship and from the energy wave reading each group should have a Deva at the Mythril rank ''
'' Deva at the Mythril rank? Since when did this Throne become someone who could be stopped by some freeloaders? '' Genzo had actually sensed these groups but having enjoyed high status because of his strength, he had long forgotten that people like this still existed.
'' I might as well help him in eradicating some trash '' He left the spaceship and entered the dark void moving each step slowly but covering great distance.
'' Hammer of end. '' he thought and a large hammer covered in bluish lightning the size of a continent descended on the three spaceships.
'' Boom '' The collision sound travelled a long distance and when it dispersed, only scattered parts of the spaceships remained, all the Devas including the Mythril rank had all been pulverized.
'' That's young Lord Genzo. '' The pilot excitedly exclaimed. '' To think that they are blind enough to stop us with such a measly lineup. '' He mocked with an arrogant look.
The pilot himself was just a marble rank Deva and existences in the Mythril rank are those he wouldn't dare to fathom but here he was mocking some of them with an arrogant face. knowing the right people sure had many benefits.
The journey continued peacefully and a week later they entered the central cluster and not long, they breached Planet Majhr.
'' It was an honour being your pilot sir '' He tried to bootlick but Genzo had vanished with the metallic cube at that point leaving only a lighting streak.

The figure of Zeralf could be seen flickering in the golden dimension and after what he felt was a long time, the golden dimension finally shattered, and that marked the end of his half dream state.
He slowly opened his eyes which took him forever to do probably as a result of stressing himself mentally and physically, he found doing anything exhausting and he was in a state of immense weakness. He looked left then right trying to decipher where he was but what greeted him was a black wall that zapped with lightning.
'' Is this what the afterlife looks like? '' He thought while gaping.
'' Why do I feel warm though? ''
'' Isn't this Ki? ''
'' Why do I still feel it ''
A Series of questions ran through his brain unanswered.
'' I guess you're awake'' A voice that was neither deep nor thin spoke from outside the wall. The metallic wall quickly vanished and Zeralf finally saw where in Ezgard he was.
The room was about ten meters long, five meters wide, and reached a height of thirty meters. The interior was bland with nothing being eye-catching. Grey walls, a green floor made out of an unknown rock, and a white rectangular roof.
Zeralf felt as though he was a lost dwarf in the room as he was just too used to his custom made little room.
'' Who are you and what do you plan on doing with me ''
'' Eh? This Throne..''
'' I'm asking who you are '' Zeralf weakly exclaimed while dragging his butt backward. Many thoughts were entering and leaving his mind.
'' Who is the man? ''
'' Is he some kind of kidnapper? ''
What happened on Mia? ''
'' Was that real or everything was just a dream? ''
Zeralf's mental state went haywire and he soon found his consciousness drifting off again.
'' No, I must stay awake. ''
'' Momma needs help. ''
'' Pappy.. pappy! ''
'' Momma!!! '' He eventually screamed and passed out
'' Shit am I watching over a crazy kid now? '' Genzo voiced in great annoyance as a black metallic wall with lightning zapping across its surface materialized again to enclose Zeralf before the energy wave he had started to release destroyed the whole building or even the planet as a whole.
'' The kid's soul is very unstable right now and that's too dangerous'' Genzo trickled the large sword on his shoulder.
'' That should not even come as a surprise, which five years old kid watched his father go on a killing spree and not go crazy, he is doing his best already by not dying out of shock.''
'' It's time an alchemist butt in, I can't deal with this alone. '' He finally concluded and made a few calls.
