Chapter 25: Heroes Vs Villains

Recap:

"I think we'll win." Her voice told that she wasn't looking at him yet her voice was firm, as if she deeply believed such a thing would happen.

"H-how?"

'Great, now I have become a stuttering mess.'

"Look." The gloves pointed to their opponents who were not getting along.

Tsu seemed to be trying to tell Todoroki something but he kept ignoring her and denying any chance she had to talk to him.

Eventually, Tsu sighed and sat down, likely creating her own countermeasures.

'Why…'

"The son of the #2, someone who's likely never lost. Don't you think arrogance would build up? We may be outclassed individually but with that attitude, we can split them up before dealing with them 1 on 1."

The plan was crude, too crude to call it one but Suijin acknowledge it was something, a ray of hope he wanted to latch onto

"I think we can do it, with what you demonstrated in the lunchroom I think that your brain can come up with a great plan to get us out of this."

Nodding his head Suijin looked at where he thought her head was.

"I will!" He sounded confident once again.

"Y-you know, I remember what you did as well as your scores, so I was happy when your name got called as my partner."

She didn't finish the sentence but Suijin could tell the last part. 'Don't sigh like I'm useless.' He felt deeply troubled as that wasn't his intention so he looked intently at her.

"We'll Win."

____________________________________________________________________________

As quickly as Suijin had started making plans the first match ended, though he did see parts of it. Ida used his speed to get past Bakugo, who just let him pass.

Then Midoriya, Bakugo's supposed to target and Bakugo himself fought, shaking the huge building.

'Talk about powerhouses.'

Then Ida ran into the room Uraraka was in, he caught her off guard and ran past her but apparently, she found some old rope and made both the bomb and herself float.

She then jumped around the rather spacious room with herself being weightless while Ida kept trying to run at her.

Ida had figured out her plan at some point and used a moment she looked at to fake tiredness, once she let her guard down he sped past her and jumped for the bomb in the air.

But an unexpectedly strong explosion broke the floor and beat them, moving the bomb away right when his hand was going to touch it, causing him to fall.

Uraraka, even though on the opposite team and clearly overloaded by having made the bomb weightless for a while made Ida float, preventing any damage from their fall.

Ida happened to land on the bomb when he safely landed on the ground cementing Uraraka and Bakugo's loss. Uraraka went to puke rainbows immediately after though.

The team once finished returned to the control room where a discussion on who the MVP was taking place.

"WHO DO YOU THINK THE BEST IN THE MATCH IS?"

"All Might I think there are two people for that position. There was Midoriya who made a plan with Uraraka and then dealt with the unexpected Bakugo who ignored Ida.

But he lost points for destroying the building in the process which could have negatively affected the bomb, something he should prioritize as a hero."

Seeing All Might not saying anything Yaoyorozu continued.

"But there was also Ida, who tried to follow the plan but also dealt with the unexpected scenario, he dealt with Uraraka while keeping damage to a minimum, and he also quickly used the situation at the end to secure the bomb preventing any lives from being lost."

'Ambitious I see.' All Might sweatdropped a bit but nevertheless agreed with her assessment.

"Correct Young Yaoyorozu."

Then he shouted group B, a group Suijin expected to end quickly, and his prediction came to fruition.

In the beginning, Jiro placed her ear jack on the building, determining their movement. From her hand movements, she said to Mineta that only 1 was coming to them while the other was going in a pincer.

The two confronted together planning on ambushing the one and then quickly taking the bomb and ending the round, however, they didn't account for one thing, Shoji's also a great sensor.

'Though it's not wrong for not thinking about it, it's not the first thing you remember about him when you see him.'

Shoji who sensor the 4 footsteps knew they were coming to him, likely also thinking only he was walking toward them alone. Likely attributing the lack of Kirishima's footsteps to him being at the far end of the building.

However when the heroes met Shoji they were shocked, Kirishima was placed on Shoji's shoulders.

Using his already heavy weight Shoji explained that Jiro would be trying to know where the both of them were so he carried Kirishima confusing her hearing.

Once they encountered Jiro and Mineta Shoji there, Kirishima to Mineta, who surprisingly was quick-witted.

A purple ball was placed on Kirishima's fist.

"All of your punches won't hurt me, I'm immune to the ball."

Though Mineta said so, the scared expression didn't appear on Kirishima's face, instead a battle-hungry smile did.

"I don't have to hold back then."

Shoji walked up to Jiro who waved their hands up in defeat. Once Shoji was at a certain distance she manipulated her 'Earloabes' to connect to her Hero Suit, the result was a powerful sonic vibration relayed outwards.

The building shook and hoping to use this in catching Shoji off guard she tried to sprint past him…but Shoji was unaffected.

His weight and stature made the vibrations tickle him but do nothing else. Shoji wrapped his arm around the sprinting Jiro, capturing her and he flexed his muscles to keep her in place.

Grabbing the bands symbolizing capture around his waist he wrapped them around her resulting in his viceroy.

Kirishima also seemed done making Mineta his punching bag as he wrapped his tape around Mineta announcing the end of the match.

"ALL RIGHT CLASS WHO WA-"

"Shoji, created the plan nullifying Jiro's sensory abilities null. She relied on them too much and he made use of that catching them off guard, then he paired them up nicely using his stature to dominate the less combat-oriented Jiro causing his team to win."

'E-Everything again?'

*Cough*

"Y-YES YOUNG YAOYOROZU! NOW TEAM C!"

"You make the plan."

Both Suijin and Hagakure were in the room of the bomb. Suijin grimaced at his lack of Ideas.

"Only one, knowing Todoroki's nature and from what I've seen about him when researching online, it's likely he'll try to end this quickly. Knowing that he'll probably try to freeze the entire building over."

Suijin walked over and grabbed a crate that would support his weight and jumped on it, with Hagakure doing the same.

"It's unlikely it's faster than we can think so when we see the Ice we'll jump into the air and let the crate freeze over."

"That's a solid plane." Hagakure sounded elated as well as surprised.

"It's a nice one but-"

'I don't know about his fireside.'

Suijin didn't get to say anything as ice quickly crept up in the room.

"JUMP!"

Both of the two jumped into the air avoiding the ice.

'Now we just need to catch him off guard.'

A moment prior at the entrance.

"Plan?" Tsu said in a rather plain voice, she was rather tired of trying to converse with her stubborn and arrogant classmate.

'If he doesn't have one I'll need to plan a. Suijin's ability works best in long-range combat so I'll need to worry about him, but my sensitivity to touch can help me locate where one of them is.'

'I can also use my tough to grapple onto the side of the building and climb my way into the room, opting for the sneaky route.

She had options but she needed to know what her 'partner' planned on doing.

"Watch."

He walked up to the door and froze over the building in a thin layer of ice. Not wanting to stand it, Tsu blurted out one more piece of advice for Todoroki.

"He's rather-"

"Perceptive." She became dumbfounded as that confirmed that he was listening to her while ignoring her and turning her away.

'I could punch him.'

As Tsu was having such thoughts Todoki was thinking about his next moves.

'A thin layer of ice meant to bait them onto the floor, then once a false sense of security has arrived.'

He put his hand once again onto the lightly ice-covered building.

'Rip it away.'

He once again froze over the building but this time the ice was about 3 inches in thickness and faster than before.

'I'll win without him.'

He then walked inside, ignoring if Tsu followed him.

'Tiring.' Tsu, who usually didn't do well in the cold, hoped this would end soon. Todoroki walked upstairs and into the room where they were.

Kicking down the door he was met with a Spray Bottle to the face, he quickly reacted though and froze over Suijins bottom half completely.

Stifling the Spray Bottles actions.

Looking at the only dry spot here Todoroki saw a piece of ice broken up as if it had been pierced by a pressure watcher.

He looked down at his classmate and said "You got far."

Then ignoring the reaction to his words Todoroki walked to the bomb wanting to end this farce. Right when he was about to touch it he was startled by a voice.

"ENDEAVOR!"

His actions stifled thinking about his father, but that stifle was enough for Suijin who'd gotten his insanely cold hand to his trigger to pull it.

A shot that was thin yet deadly headed for Todoroki's left arm. He would have been severely injured if not for a tongue pushing him out of the way.

Todoroki was smashed into the bomb by the force, but the spot where he was standing had a hole that went through the inches thick ice as well as the concrete walls and out of the building.

"HEROES WIN."

Todoroki stood up with a grunt and walked out of the building ignoring his classmates.

"YOUNG TODORKI CAN YOU FIX THE ICE."

"Tch."

On his way out though he laid his hands on the exterior of the building once again and melted all of the frozen ice.

Everyone made their way to the break room, with Hagakure being identifiable since she was directly frozen on her bare skin.

"WHO DO YOU THINK THE BEST IN THE MATCH IS?"

"Shimizu, analyzed the situation and made use of his limited resources to conduct a satisfactory plan. Even when it went awry he created another of having Hagakure yell out distracting Todoroki and giving them another opportunity to incapacitate him. Although they lost that was only due to a timely intervention of Tsu, otherwise the match may have very well been theirs."

"CORRECT AGAIN YAOYOROZU!"

All Might swore that in the next matches, he would get a chance to say something.

With that Suijin dragged his tired and cold body to apologize to Hagakure, then he sat in his corner and analyzed the match.

'I was arrogant in assuming the speed and power was all Todoroki could muster, I also became complacent in moving on to the next task not remaining vigilant, That allowed him to take advantage of that.

Once I became unfrozen though there wasn't much I could do. He came surprisingly fast and I didn't even have time to realize a shot.

I also didn't account for Tsu moving him but my movements were limited in the ice not allowing me to shoot multiple shots."

Suijin finished analyzing himself.

'Overall a 6/10 performance. Though I have some questions for Dad when I get home.'

With that, the rest of the games went rather quickly. Mina Yuga and Mina attacked in a long rage and defeated Sero whose tape was burned/melted, and Ojirou who couldn't do anything from long range leading to the villains winning.

Yaoyorozu once again did the analysis.

In the last match, things were more competitive. With Mina's group result, the Heroes and Villains both had a 2-2 tie. The first and third had Heros win and the second and fourth were villains.

Via power, Suijin would have given it to Hero's but he didn't want to underestimate the Pres, and how right he was.

Suijin saw Pres spread out water making the floor wet, then once Sato and Tokoyami appeared Kaminari lit the floor up.

Tokoyami's quirk appeared to be afraid of the light and didn't protect himself from the lightning. Leading to Tokoyami being paralyzed.

Sato powered through but came down with a rubber bullet shot from a gun. Then a taser incapacitated him leading to a sweep through and the Villains won overall with a 3-2 lead.

All Might did get to do an overview at the end which ran on for quite a long though.
