It was the third and final day of the wave and the Jackrixis had some wins and losses along the way and would now have to just hold on for the last day.
Now some tribes had sadly been destroyed either completely or those that survive ran and survived alone or went and joined other tribes.
So far though the rixis had done okay and had managed to improve their skills and knowledge of the different creatures and fighting styles they had.
It was early in the morning and the sun was rising once more and the moon was leaving again as well and the Jackrixis got back up and prepared to fight.
It was obvious to anyone that the rixis were all tired from the two days of constant fighting and keeping a lookout for attackers.
They managed to fight in shifts so that they weren't as tired and could share the load when it comes to fighting.
The clans had mostly held on strong sticking to what they did best and thriving against the wave while other more normal tribes did well just with simple teamwork.
When a group can work together effectively against or for something they can do incredible things that they wouldn't normally be able to do.
Now in the jungle biome, the Wild Wings clan had to fall back to where their feathered companion's home was.
The Jackrixis thought it was just this area they were In but didn't know it was just the outer circle in which the younger generations lived.
The elders lived much deeper in the jungle at its very middle and had mostly just watched the rixis as they integrated with their children and great-grandchildren.
It seems because of their intelligence or bond with the Jackrixis that they didn't die in the wave which was a great thing for the rixis.
If you didn't know these birds had a name since jack didn't want to keep calling them birds so he decide to call them Venxes.
As stated, they can live to be 140 years old and their colors change as they got older from red to orange then yellow and green before they all mix at their final stage.
And of course, with each change, they became stronger and wiser and much bigger starting to the size of a normal parrot or swan and then ag their biggest being the size of a small plane.
You may be wondering what this had to do with the wave well absolutely nothing they just needed to be brought back as a reminder.
And the fact they were the reason the jungle rixis hadn't been wiped out on day one since what biomes and position you are in is important in the wave.
If you compare the desert biome to the jungle biome the jungle has much more wildlife and animals roaming around than the desert.
Now animals can appear in any biome during the wave but naturally, you will be facing more if you are in the jungle and of many types who may not come from there.
What the rixis didn't know was the elder Venxes had killed many of the more troublesome creatures gunning for the Jackrixis for two reasons.
The first being they didn't want the waves monster to mess up their home and make a mess of things for their children.
The second was to protect the rixis as they and their children found them interesting and amusing to watch.
So sadly for the rixis, the third day would be much even for the elder Venxes who still managed to kill many of the monsters swarming the jungle.
They understood however they couldn't possibly get them all this time so they made their children bring the rixis further into their territory.
The Jackrixis and Wild Wings clan wouldn't realize until far in the future that they had been saved if the Venxes didn't help them they would have been wiped out.
The elder Venxes swooped down from their trees and above the jungle and slammed and pierced the bodies of the larger creature coming into the jungle.
While the Wild Wings stood their ground making sure to watch each other backs and help if someone got overwhelmed.
They split into two groups the first staying on the ground and would fighting with weapons or their fists and would hold the line against the wave.
The second group went from tree to tree and used more ranged tactics to kill and trip up the oncoming wave of creatures running at the first group.
They would also look out to see if anything was changing in the battle and inform the other group and inadvertently inform the birds who listened as well.
They couldn't understand the rixis but they got that if someone from group two went to someone in the other group and they spoke and pointed out something was happening.
So they contained fighting and the wave kept coming and it was sad to see the bodies of rixis and their companions lying on the jungle floor together.
It was truly a miracle that the rixis hadn't seen the elder Venxes at this point as there were many of them and they were hard to miss both in size and color.
After the battle had finished as the moon passed and the sun came up the leftovers of the wave returned to normal and most fled.
The Wild Wings clan was battered and bruised but still victorious and they slowly returned to their tribal home which was in shambles from the wave.
They would then bury their dead near their family tree to feed and nourish it while the elder Venexs and their children mourned the loss of their family.
In the large space, Jack had to call home he was currently biting his nails while pacing past the screen but kept his eyes on them intensely.
"This was pretty bad I mean not a complete shit show but I think 6 to 8 tribes were lost so that's could be about 100 to 300 Jackrixis now dead"-Jack
It was now over for the Wild Wings clan since they had a higher chance of winning so the system let them go early but the other clans and races would still be fighting.
"Shouldn't it be over now?"-Jack
[]It is wrapping up now yes host it won't be more than an hour or two[]
"Thank god... Or is it thank me now?"-Jack
I've been wondering whether I should use numbers or the actual name instead of 5 I write five but I think using numbers is easier plus it doesn't bloat up the word count which gives you more content.
Probably in the future ill do a sweep of the chapter like I did before to check the quality and make sure they are similar and still keeping to the story.
Hope you enjoyed and thanks for reading.
