I was pretty sure Elvira wanted to talk to my parents about me, but I wanted none of that now. I was tired from the travel, and I'd only remembered that I hadn't slept throughout the entire night.
"I'm guessing you won't be in need of me for the next five hours or so," Lira said as she fell into place next to me.
"You sleep for as long as you like," I told her in reassurance, "I'll be doing the same."
We were climbing up the stairs to the second floor, where our rooms were located. Mine belonged to the east wing, where all the rooms for the princesses were. Hers was on the opposite side, though not quite far that it would take a trek for me to get there and vice versa.
