After a long and tiring journey, the five of them arrived at an abandoned village called Witchapel, at that time it was raining very heavily accompanied by winds that hit very hard and lightning that struck the trees.
"Guys! We should find a shelter to rest for a while! This kind of weather doesn't allow us to continue our journey.", Castor shouted amongst the roar of the wind and rain and the thunderous sound of lightning.
The increasingly bad weather conditions made the terrain they were traveling on very difficult to traverse and the poor visibility made the five of them inevitably have to stop their journey in the village.
Not too far from them was an abandoned building that was very unkempt, the five of them decided to immediately head to the building for shelter.
"Huft..., what the..., it's really unfriendly weather, to the point that I can't see the road...", said Gideon who seemed to be shivering from the cold.
"For now, let's take shelter here until the weather improves.", said Jacob.
"What is this place exactly?!", asked Victor very curious.
"We are in Witchapel, a village that has been abandoned for a very long time, it is said that this village used to be a densely populated settlement until an attack occurred and all the inhabitants were killed...", explained Gideon.
"Were they also attacked by vampires?", Victor asked.
"No, they were attacked by troops sent by a kingdom that came from a foreign land far from Lacrimosgoth with the aim of spreading their gospel or religious teachings, it is said that anyone who opposes and does not want to accept the teachings without hesitation will be killed.", Jacob answered.
"Then if they're not vampires does that mean they're human like us?" Victor asked.
"Yes, they are also human like us, they call themselves missionary knights, not only this village, they also made many attacks on various villages, but only Witchapel is no longer inhabited.", Jacob answered.
"How cruel..., how could they be so cruel...?", said Victor in a low voice and couldn't understand.
"We should eat first while waiting for the weather to improve, I happened to bring some supplies given by the residents of Helberg.", said Castor as he took out some food from the bag he was carrying.
The five of them ate together in that place and when Victor accidentally looked into the room of the building he suddenly saw a mysterious woman who seemed to be peeking and watching the five of them from behind a wall.
"Hey! What are you doing there?!" asked Victor in a loud voice.
Suddenly the four of them were surprised by what Victor shouted.
"What are you doing? Who were you talking to just now?!" Agatha asked.
"I saw a woman peeping at us from behind that wall." Victor explained while pointing at the wall he was referring to.
Instantly all of them turned their eyes towards the direction where Victor's finger was pointing but none of the four of them saw anything.
"Hey Victor, there's nothing there...", Gideon explained.
"No, she was hiding behind that wall and watching us earlier...", Victor emphasized.
"Let me check it out!" Jacob said.
Jacob slowly walked closer to the wall and examined it, but Jacob did not see or find anything behind the wall that Victor was referring to.
"There's nothing here...", said Jacob who was astonished.
"But just now I really saw someone there...", said Victor who was still clear that he saw someone watching them.
Jacob came back to the four of them and continued eating.
"Victor, I think you're just hallucinating from exhaustion, after this rest first!", Agatha said.
"Yeah..., maybe I was just hallucinating earlier...", Victor said with a feeling that there was still something wrong with what he had just seen.
A while later after they finished eating, Victor leaned his head and slept on Agatha's lap.
In his sleep he dreamed that he was in a densely populated settlement that looked strangely familiar, everyone he met seemed to be very busy with preparations for a religious ceremony.
Shortly afterward, the atmosphere in the settlement suddenly became very chaotic, the residents were seen running in fear when foreign troops led by a man riding a white horse came to the place and tried to arrest the residents.
It didn't take long before they managed to capture the residents who were there then tied them up and gathered them in a field in the village.
"Bow your heads before the power of the true king of the universe and abandon your misguidance, repent! Then you will live in forgiveness!", said the man on horseback loudly.
"F*ck you, foreigner!" said a villager as he tried to spit on the man.
"I give you one more chance to surrender and repent!" said the man on horseback.
The villagers were even more angry after hearing what the man on horseback said, they tried to rebel while continuing to hurl sentence after sentence of curses at the man on horseback and his army.
The man on horseback and his troops were finally left with no other choice but to use violence.
"Then by force...", said the man on horseback as he drew his sword.
"Send them all to hell!", shouted the man on horseback to order his troops to execute the villagers.
Because of this refusal, one by one the residents were eliminated without anyone left, then the troops dragged the bodies of the residents to a place where hundreds of burial pits had been prepared.
One by one the bodies were put into the pit and then they were buried en masse, not long after that Victor suddenly found himself in one of the burial places with hundreds of unnamed tombstones.
Right in front of him stood a woman who looked familiar to him calling his name.
"Victor!", the woman called.
"You're ....!", Victor said as he stared at the mysterious woman's face with a trembling body.
"Please...! help us all!", said the mysterious woman.
"What?! What do you mean?! I don't understand what you just said!" said Victor.
Suddenly the woman's body dissolved like dust and turned into bones that fell in front of Victor and then from the nameless cemetery rose creepy-sounding undead who immediately crawled closer to Victor.
Instantly Victor was hysterical with fear as he tried to escape one of his legs was grabbed by a hand that appeared from the ground which then pulled him down and the undead quickly surrounded and bit Victor's body.
"Nooooo...!", shouted Victor who suddenly woke up from his nightmare.
Instantly Castor,Jacob,Gideon and Agatha were shocked by Victor's shout.
"Victor, what's wrong with you?!", Agatha asked.
"I... I just had a nightmare...", replied Victor who broke out in a cold sweat and hugged Agatha's body with a limp and panting breath.
"Calm down! It was just a dream...", Agatha said to calm Victor down while stroking his head.
"I think you were just so exhausted, that's why you hallucinated into a nightmare.", Jacob said.
"Maybe you were just too carried away by your hallucination of seeing a woman behind the wall of that room just now.", said Castor.
"Yes, I met her in my nightmare, she begged me to help them...", said Victor with his breath still in his throat.
"Them?! Who are you talking about?" Gideon asked curiously.
"Them! The villagers! I don't know what she means.", Victor replied.
"Never mind! Calm down, I'm here to take care of you!", Agatha said to calm him down as she continued to hug Victor's body who was still limp with fear.
Agatha, Castor, Jacob and Gideon also stared at each other without saying anything as if the four of them felt an oddity from the nightmare that Victor was experiencing.
