Nicole returned back to where she sat, in her seventy five years of living, she hadn't seen anyone as gorgeous as he was and she just couldn't let it slide, and had approached him despite him being in the middle of two witches.
Seeing him reminded her of younger self. A beautiful, caring, carefree and charming girl whose curiosity had lead her into hanging out with inhuman entities. Making friends with people she knew we're not human and it had eventually cost her her life.
They had been attacked when she was hanging with her vampire friends and had got caught in the crossfire between the witches and the vampires and was the brink of death. Infact, she had died and had woken up to a whole different world.
One of her friends had bit her just before she could draw her final breath successfully turning her into a vampire. She lived in shadows away from humans and vampires and she still did. Life had become almost like hell to her. She watched her parents every night as they wept for her thinking she was dead. She continued this, watching her parents on their death bed and she couldn't approach them. Living life like this was worse than death.
She had never really attacked a human before even though she drank human blood. She would constantly slip into hospitals and break into their blood bank only making away with a year or month feeding. But she wasn't heartless, it wasn't one hospital. She would hit at least twenty different hospitals in one night, her speed and superhuman strength made it relatively easy for her to get away with her crimes undetected.
She has gotten tired of living only at night, and it had prompted her to ambush one of the day walkers and managed to successfully stake him and steal his ring, before throwing him out into the open sun to dematerialize. She had broken the first rule of being a vampire and that was killing your kind but since she never really associated with them, they'd never know. Nobody even knew who she was in the vampire faction.
After she had acquired this ring she had tried her possible best to lead a normal life and it was working for her ever since until now. For some reason after laying eyes on this boy, her fangs had grown and she had felt the urge to bite. She wanted to bite him, to mark him her first bite.
She had restrained this urge mainly because he was surrounded by witches and because they were humans around in the carnival there were plenty of sticks and fire around.
She couldn't be sure but she could feel it, the connection between them two and she desperately wanted to pursue it.
