Chương 37: Mo Jingzhi confessed
When Mo Jingzhi and Anna both reached home Mo Jingzhi turned to his apartment opened the lock was about to call Anna when he turned around to call Anna he saw her opening the lock of her own apartment.
" I am sorry I forgot to call someone to clean up your place you can live with me tonight I will call someone tomorrow." Of course he didn't want her apartment to be restored to its original state then Anna would go back to live in her place .
"Ohh it's ok I called Lu Jinnian in the afternoon he already sent someone to clean up I won't trouble you anymore ." As soon as Anna finished speaking the atmosphere cooled down Mo Jingzhi felt anger brewing inside he was already somewhat close to her he could see that she had let down her gaurd against him .
He knew that she had only known him for him for a few days he shouldn't expect much from her but couldn't help but feel annoyed she was too much dependent on Lu Jinnian.
He didn't give her a gentle smile as usual stared at her coldly for a few seconds turned around and went inside .
Looking at Mo Jingzhi's back she seemed to have seen the Mo Jingzhi she first met on the flight. She shouldn't be bothered with it but somehow she felt stuffy inside . This feeling made her uneasy and suffocated .
Slowly the time of her eyes turned red this is the first time she has cried in all these years she was trained to not having her emotions affected by anyone but Mo Jingzhi could do it in second his small movements affected her very much she was confused about the whole thing right now.
She felt a hint of grievance inside her two strings of tears slid from her eyes she hurriedly wiped her face she felt really stuffy inside the last time she cried was when her brother asked her to follow those people to the army since then she never cried again, Mo Jingzhi clearly didn't do something to make her cry he wasn't rude to her it just that all these days he had indulged her unconditionally now she had a sense of attachment towards him his cold attitude made her feel wronged .
She sent Lu Jinnian a message to deliver food since Mo Jingzhi showed her a cold attitude naturally she can't shamelessly eat his food . She went in the kitchen opened the refrigerator took out the a big pack of lichi Juice started drinking one pack after another she finished everything she still couldn't relive her emotions she went to her bedroom took out her suitcase.
It was already empty as she had already unpacked everything but there was small pocket to it she took out a pack of ladies cigarettes took the handbag hanging aside took out a lighter went to the balcony to smoke actually she wasn't addicted to smoking people had various ways of relieving stress she had too ways either drink juice or smoking she didn't have a habit of alcohol cause it couldn't make her drunk .
She stood in the balcony smoking , while Mo Jingzhi wanted to deliver food to Anna but he was hesitating so he decided to explore her through the balcony their balconies were too close to each other he could she a part of her place if he peeped deliberately.
But when he saw the seen in her balcony he was so mad he wished he could strangle her he couldn't see her face clearly as the lights in her balcony weren't switched on but he could smell cigarette smoke also he could see her vague silhouette.
He didn't bother going out and knocking her door he immediately jumped from his balcony to her took the cigarette from her hand swiftly crushed it with his foot.
" How can you smoke are you mad ? " He couldn't control his speech yelled at her , Ann who was already feeling aggrieved felt more wronged her eyes twitched doudou tears started falling down her face although surrounding was dark Mo Jingzhi still felt something was wrong he went to switch on the light when he went back to her he saw a scene where he felt his heart was pinched by something it was too painful .
Light fell on Anna's beautiful face her face still indifferent but there were steams of tears on her face her eyes red he had known her for a few days but never seen her in such a state rather he could never imagine her like this she always had a cold aura around her he always felt they were the same types of people so just like him she won't cry on small things .
" What's wrong, did something happen why don't you tell me maybe I can help you ?" he could have never imagined why Anna cried he never felt that his small action could affect her to this extent.
Seeing that Mo Jingzhi didn't realise his mistake Anna felt more wronged she refused to talk just looked at him with fierce eyes .
Although Mo Jingzhi was slow he could still understand his accusing gaze he started thinking about what he did slowly the scene of him treating her coldly came to his mind .
He wanted to apologise but he didn't know how to explain he was very clear now how he felt about her but he thought it was too fast for him to confess about it rather than this he was more afraid of her rejecting him so he wanted to avoid speaking about his feelings.
Looking at Mo Jingzhi she knew he understood what was wrong but didn't admit his mistake Anna didn't want to pay attention to him anymore she ignored him went back to her room closed the door with a bang .
Thank God her team members weren't present because if they saw such a childish Anna the image of the boss build from childhood would surely collapse.
The bang snapped Mo Jingzhi out of his daze only then he realised that Anna was too mad right now if he didn't admit his mistake she won't forget him easily.
He walked towards her bedroom door knocked twice ," Ann actually I know maybe I what I will say next might be unacceptable to you it's just been 4 to 5 days since we met but the moment I saw you , I was fascinated by you beauty , by all sorts of coincidence we kept meeting again and again I wanted to get close to you so I tried all my means in these days you may think that may be I am just attracted to you but no this is the first time I really like someone when I was small I saw how my dad loved my mom I asked him ,how do you know you love someone ?. his answer was you will know when you meet her .
Ann I now can understand his statement I know when I meet her , Ann I really like you can you give me a chance give us a chance ."
After confessing in one breath Mo Jingzhi still didn't get any response from inside his shoulders drooped over the years for the first time he experienced the feelings of powerlessness he sighed sadly :" Ann I will go back if you don't want it I won't disturb you."
Where could you find the masculine prideful and handsome man Mo Jingzhi all that was left right now was a helpless man in love with no confidence.
Just when he turned around was about to head back heard the sound of the door opening a small head poked out of the room her face red like tamato she said in a small voice " wait ".
Hearing the voice Mo Jingzhi was overjoyed if not afraid of scaring her he would have really wanted to hug her tightly. Mo Jingzhi turned around only to see a shy face he was stunned that Anna looked too cute in such a shy face . She looked at him ," You didn't explain and apologies for being cold to me " . after saying this she was dying of embarrassment.
Ah ah ah did she really need him to explain everything.
" I wish you can live at my place so I can contact you more so I didn't ask someone to clean up but you instead of discussing it with me you asked Lu Jinnian for help , we are quite close these days can't I solve your problems , I am sorry I won't be fierce to you again . "
" But I don't want to trouble you ,you are already helping me so much" , recieving Mo Jingzhi's gaze Anna's voice became smaller and smaller.
" Forget it " , Mo Jingzhi didn't want to dwell on this topic anymore he was not in a hurry to recieve an answer from her he decided to slowly let her step in his gentle trap .
" Let's go eat " he made dinner for both of them .
Anna looked at him and shook her head although she ordered food after drinking so much juice and then smoking she was sure that after eating she was going to vomit anyway . She knew her body condition well .
Mo Jingzhi was going to persuade her when his gaze went towards the side of the sofa he saw an empty box of packed juices with all the small packs empty .
Mo Jingzhi's gaze turned scary when he looked at Anna with a scrutinizing look Anna Was terrified she the best special officer was intimidated by a businessman.
" That that they were ..." Anna stammered for the first time, since meeting him she was doing all kinds ok strange things.
" Are you a small child you can drink so much unhealthy juices although it is a fruit juice it is harmful to your body also smoking will also affect you ," with that he streched out his hand she immediately knew what he meant Anna obediently went back to her room took out the cigarette pack went back placed it in palm .
Mo Jingzhi took them kept it in his pocket
then Anna saw him walking towards the kitchen almost immediately knew what he was going to do before Mo Jingzhi could reach her refrigerator she was standing between him and the refrigerator.
Mo Jingzhi cast her a helpless gaze to her pleading look but he didn't give in , " Be good " with that he took out all the boxes of packed juices.
" This will be kept with me only when I allow can you drink it ", Anna was angry, who has the guts to control her for so many years she only did what she wanted to do .But Mo Jingzhi really made her helpless she wanted to rebel him but her subconscious action were definitely against her .
So she could only see him taking one packet after another towards his apartment placing it in his fridge it was almost full then.
Then he came back took her hand walked out of her place locked her door walked to his apartment he took to the kitchen boiled water for her checked the temperature then handed it to her . She obediently drank it .
