For the first time in his long life, Core Protector Daemon received the opportunity of fighting head-on against a Mage, a high-grade Super of an entirely different class that he had never seen nor heard of before.

Core Protector Daemon called up all his experience and powers as an old monster and Necromancy but yet, he could not bypass the defenses of the powerful alien Mage. This Nak Captain effortlessly fended off his attacks.

The alien Mage's long black robes despite looking light was actually sturdier than the strongest armor. It defended most of the attacks.

The most infuriating part of it all was that the powerful Mage didn't seem to have the intention of finishing him off, it was like he was stalling for time.
