I woke up early in the morning and was ready to continue with the wedding preparations. I wanted everything to be perfect. My mother helped me arrange everything, from the flowers to the locations.
I didn't want a big wedding, so we decided to have the wedding at the house, in the backyard to be precisely. I have to meet the caterers today at twelve and I have dress fitting too. My schedule was tight, and I haven't even seen Max for three weeks.
Our sex haze seemed to die down, but I still have some heat waves here and there but learned to control it. As for the possible pregnancy, I haven't felt a thing which was great because the babies were growing up really fast and it was a chaos.
Imagine another one, it would be a disaster.
The three little boogers learned how to get out of their cribs, don't tell me how they did it because I don't. We put cameras in the room to see if someone got them out of their cribs but to our surprise these little boogers turned into their wolves already well except from Rebekah, she got out all by herself while her brothers jumped out.
We tried to find answers as to why they changed but found none. No one in the history of wolves has turned into their wolf at only five months old. It was unexplainable. But we were worried about Rebekah, why hasn't she turned into her wolf too?
The only people that can help us is Max mother and grandmother but weeks after I gave birth I couldn't see or talk to them anymore, but I have a feeling that it's because of what Max grandmother showed me. They turned earlier so they can protect Rebekah which explains why she hasn't turned yet.
"Alexandra honey, are you there?" My mother's voice snapped me out of it, and I blushed when I realized that people in the shop turned my way.
I nodded my head at her and smiled slightly from the embarrassment. "Yes, just think...." I put my hand on my mouth when I felt the need to throw up all of a sudden. The shop assistant panicked and grabbed a bucket from the cleaning lady's cart and passed it to me.
I held the bucket in my hands and put my head in it as I vomit everything I just ate. "Honey, are you okay?" My mother asked when I raised my head back up and I nodded my head, opening my mouth to speak but put my head back in the bucket to throw up some more.
My mother ran her hands up and down my back and pulled my hair back. "Honey are you pregnant?" I shook my head at her and thanked the shop assistant who handed me a towel, giving her the vomit bucket.
She smiled with a disgusting face and put the bucket back in the cleaning lady's car. "Are you sure you're not?" I wiped my mouth and turned to look at my mother with teary eyes and shook my head. "Honey." I flung myself at her and let my tears fall.
"Aw, she's getting emotional. Don't worry mommy, everything is going to be fine." I cried harder at what the shop assistant said and pulled away from my mother, waving my hand in front of my mouth as the need to throw up came again.
The shop assistant passed me the bucket in disgust, and I shot her a look. "Do you want me to throw up in your precious store?" I asked her as I yanked the bucket from her, gagging as I threw up.
"How about we get another schedule for the dress fitting?" She asked instead and I nodded my head still in the bucket. "You can take the bucket." She smiled falsely and scurried passed us. How rude.
"Let's get out of here honey but first we have to buy you a pregnancy test." My mother hooked her arm around my shoulders and led me out of the wedding dress shop. "I'll drive." She sat me in the passenger seat and closed the door for me, rounding the car to enter the driver side.
My mother drove us to the pharmacy store. and parked the car in the parking lot. "I'll buy you one, you wait in the car." I nodded my head and leaned my head on the window, closing my eyes.
I jolted awake when there was a knock on the window and let out a scream when I saw someone who looked exactly like Max staring back at me wait a minute. "Maximus?" I said after I rolled down the window.
"You have to help me." He pleaded me with his eyes, and I couldn't say no to him, not with that face. Damn you Maximus, why did you have to look so much like Max?
I rolled my eyes exhaling deeply and nodded my head. "What do you want? And how did you find me?" I asked getting out of the car. "It doesn't matter, I need your help." He waved it off and took a deep breath. "I need you to get Max to accept me and Marie in his pack."
"Why?" I blunted out rudely, but I swear that I wasn't trying to be, it just came out like that. "Come with me and you'll see." I looked at his extended hand and then back up at him, my intuition telling me not to trust him but my heart telling me to, so I followed it.
I sighed loudly and grabbed his hand, following him to his car. "What do you want me to see?" He shook his head and unlocked the doors, getting inside of the car.
I hope your right heart. I opened the door and got in, closing it behind me. We drove out of the pharmacy parking lots and hit the road. "Stop the car!" He turned to look at me with a confused look on his face but widened his eyes, yanking the steer wheel to the side to get off the road.
I jumped out of the car and doubled over, my hands on my stomach as I vomit again but this time nothing came out. I spat out and wiped my mouth with the back of my hand, coughing. "Are you okay?"
"Yeah, just stomach flu...I think." I whispered quietly at the end and headed back to the car. "Let's go." I entered the passenger seat and waited for him to get in.
He entered the driver seat and turned to look at me but shook his head and drove back on the road. We drove for fifteen minutes and stopped the car in front of a house in the middle of nowhere. "This is where you two live?"
"Something like that." He got out of the car and left me there frowning. "Are you planning on staying in the car?" I blushed deeply and opened the car door, getting out. The house door was open, and a large stomach came into the view and then Marie.
Maximus walked toward her and picked her up, brushing his nose against her as she giggled. I smiled at the loving gesture and leaned against the car. "Alexandra!" Marie squealed and rushed toward me when Maximus put her down.
"Wow there." Maximus said and Marie rolled her eyes, smiling brightly at me as she pulled me into a hug. "You're squeezing the hell out of me." I gasped out breathless and she pulled away from me with guilty look on her face.
"Sorry." Maximus appeared from behind her and wrapped his arms around her stomach, kissing the crook of her neck. "I'm glad to see you again and you remembering after what this idiot did to you."
She elbowed him in the stomach, and he scratched the back of his neck awkwardly. "Sorry about that."
"No, it's okay. It's long forgotten." I smiled at them warmly and took a deep breath. "Consider yourself part of our pack." I said without thinking twice and I knew that Max wasn't going to agree with me. Well, at least I know I tried.
"Come on in, I can't wait to show you the nursery room." Marie said excited as she dragged me toward the house and I smiled at her, walking inside of the house with her.
You're in trouble now.
"No, absolutely not." I groaned loudly as Max declined Maximus and Marie from joining the pack. "Your mother was so worried about you; did you not think about that? You were stupid enough to just leave with him knowing what he did to you?"
"But...." He raised his hand up and continued with his paperwork. "He's your brother." He shot me an annoying look and went back to reading his works. "How can you be so cruel? They are going to have a baby!"
I stalked out of his office and slammed the door close harshly. "What happened?" My mother asked as she bounced a crying Maximilian, trying to sooth him. "Max happens." I took Maximilian from her and headed to the nursery room. "He declined the permission." I walked toward the rocking chair and sat on it, unclasping my front bra to breastfeed him. "He's a jerk."
Maximilian looked at me like I just said a bad word and went back to sucking on my nipple. "You know Maxi, your father is a jerk who doesn't have feelings." I heard a deep sigh behind me before feet started to walk where I was sitting. "Why don't you tell your father to go back do his stupid paperwork?"
Max lingered his hand on the chair before kneeling next to it, running a hand through Maximilian's hair. "I'm a jerk without feelings ha?" He looked up at me and I scrunched my nose up as I looked away.
"You can't ignore me forever." He planted a kiss on Maximilian's forehead and stood up straight, leaning forward to kiss me but I looked away again, so he kissed my temple instead. He sighed loudly and leaned his mouth down, putting his forehead on my temple.
We stayed like that for a few moments until he gave up and pulled away from my temple, heading out of the nursery. I closed my eyes as a traitorous teardrop felt down my cheek and I wiped it away, looking down at a half sleeping Maximilian.
I fixed my bra and with a sigh, I stood up and walked toward the crib, tugging Maximilian in. He moved a bit but went still and I sighed in relief, leaning in to kiss his forehead and walked out of the room.
"Are you ready?" My mother moved the pregnancy test in front of me and I groaned out, remembering about that stupid test. I yanked it away from her and headed toward my room with her following after me. I ripped the box open and headed to the bathroom, sitting on the toilet and stick the test down there as I peed on it.
I sighed in relief at the pee feeling and pulled the test out but not before moving it to remove some of the pee from it. I put the test on the counter and wiped myself clean, getting up to put my panties back on.
"We have to wait now." My mother said and I nodded my head, tapping on the counter. "What if it's positive?"
"Let's hope not." I said with negativity and waited for the painfully slow minutes to pass. "Do you think it's ready?" I asked my mother nervously after three minutes past.
"I think so." She said with a shrug, and I closed my eyes tightly, gripping at the test. I raised the test up as I slowly opened my eyes, tears filling my eyes as I stared at the pink plus sign in front of me. I put my hand on my mouth as my eyes stared at the test, sobs escaping my mouth.
"Oh God, I'm not ready for this. I just can't deal with this right now." I sniffed as I put the back of my hand on my lips and pressed my eyes close as more tears streamed down my face. "We're fighting more than ever and with this I'm afraid that, we....I can't I just need some time alone."
"Alexandra!" My mother called my name as I walked past her and I felt like someone blindfolded me as everything turned black all of a sudden, my body collapsing on the cold bathroom floor.
"What happened?" I heard a worried voice asked as my body was lifted from the ground and moved somewhere else. "She fainted." My mother said but excluded the pregnancy part. "Put her on the bed." My back was placed on something soft, and I moaned loudly, blinking away as I regained my consciousness. "Honey, how are you feeling?"
"How do you want me to feel?" I turned to the other side and curled my legs up, hugging the pillow. "Happy, I want you to feel happy." My mother said sharply before walking out of the room.
"What was that all about?" Max asked with a confused look on his face, and I swung my legs of the bed as I walked toward the bathroom, yanking the test from the counter and walked back to where he was. "Why so angry?"
I slapped the test on his chest with a thud and crossed my arms. "Why not angry?" He furrowed his eyebrows together and turned the test to look at it. "I'm not ready for this again." I walked past him and headed out of the room.
I walked toward the stairs to head down but stumbled. "Watch out it's...." Someone yelled at me, but it was already late, my feet slipped on the slippery ground, and I felt on my back. I rolled to the side, holding my back as I cried out in pain and then a sharp pain shot through my lower abdomen. My baby.
"Alexandra, are you okay? I'm so sorry I didn't mean to I was about to mop it and you came." Lucy started to explain as she freaked out, trying to help me up. "You're bleeding." Her face went blank as she froze in place.
"Lucy!" I shouted at her, and she seems to snap out of it. "Help me up." She did what she was told and called for help. I grabbed onto her shoulder as I doubled over, cringing in pain. "My baby."
"Max! Alexis! Someone help." Lucy shouted as she tried to hold me straight as she could. Max rushed from our bedroom and froze when he saw us. "She fell and now she's bleeding I'm sorry it was all my fault."
Max snapped out of it and took me over from Lucy, picking me up bridal style. "Go find Lila." Max walked us to the room and put me on the bed. "Are you okay?"
I took deep breaths as I nodded my head. "Max I'm sorry I didn't want it and now I'm sorry." I flung at Max and cried out. "You don't want our baby?" He pulled away from me and took a step back. "It's a thing that you're not ready and a whole other thing not wanting it."
"I came as soon as Lucy told me." Lila put her things on the nightstand and did some checkups. "Are you having period pains?" I did a roughly speaking motion with my hand and breathed out heavily. "Did you bleed heavily or just a little bit."
"I don't know maybe a little to a bit heavy." I answered back shakily, my breathing spiking up and my heart beating loudly.
"Can you move?" I shook my head at her, and she sighed loudly, turning to look at Max. "There is still a chance that we can stop the miscarriage, but we have to move soon. The problem is that we can't move her. We need an ambulance as soon as possible."
"I'm on it."
