The both options were in her favour, so she really didn't care.
Ian blinked at her.
"You have no idea what you're asking for, Seraphina. Are you sure you want to make a deal with the devil?"
Seraphina felt a shudder pass through her at his tone of warning. She was tempted to just tell him to forget all about it, but on the other hand, a part of her, a very daring part of her wanted to see how it'd all turn out.
It was impossible for her to beat him, she knew, but she was determined to give it her all. Being punished and getting him to answer whatever question she asked, she didn't know which was more pleasing to her.
"I've done worse things than that, haven't I?"
She made sure to keep a determined expression on her face even when Ian's gaze turned completely evil, like he was promising her punishments like no other.
