In the evening Christian and Esther met in a private chamber, where Godwin was present too. "King Christian sent his eldest son to the war all the time. I am surprised to see him today," Esther said and picked up the gold glass to drink the wine.

"My eldest son was enough to lead the Escana army," Christian said with a tiny smile and sipped the wine from the glass he was holding.

"Since the enmity has ended between us, we should not talk about the great battle that we fought anymore," Godwin suggested to them and gestured to the servants to pour more wine into their glasses.

"King Godwin, would you like to give your daughter's hand to my son?" Esther asked. Godwin was startled to hear him and could not comprehend the answer.

"I would like to converse with my daughter regarding it," Godwin did not agree immediately and asked Esther to wait till tomorrow.
