Hisaki immediately headed to her family's new house after coming back from the shrine. She was alone because her parents and Takuya still had to go to the old house. The relatives on the Chisaka family's side had started to gather there.

Mrs. Chisaka had to be at the old house as the only daughter-in-law of their family branch. Although it was exhausting to deal with the noisy and demanding relatives, she planned to just suck it up for today.

Hisaki felt sorry for her mother but, she was still unwilling to go there. No one knew what would she face if she ever made an appearance at the old house.

When Hisaki first moved away from this town, the relatives were in an uproar. More so after they got news about Igarashi Keigo's imprisonment. They called her a bringer of misfortunes.

Takuya conveyed the news to her. Hisaki was grateful because this was not the era of social media where she could be easily reached by the Internet.
