After the students walked in, the professor was about to step in, when the earth started to shake violently.

A deep, rumbling growl echoed through the dense forest, sending a shiver down the spines of everyone present.

The students, already nervous from the tension of the situation, froze in place. The professors exchanged worried glances, quickly realizing that something was terribly wrong.

Out of the shadows of the forest, a pack of ferocious beasts began to emerge.

The leader of the pack, a massive, wolf-like beast with fur as black as night, snarled, baring its razor-sharp fangs. The other beasts followed suit, their growls creating a chorus of impending doom.

"Everyone, get back!" Professor Jiang shouted.

The students scrambled to retreat, panic written across their faces.

"Why are there so many beasts suddenly?"

"Were they attracted by the ritual's energy?"

"We haven't started yet!"
