Chương 83: Chapter 83 What is war and what is truth

"Bullshit! Somebody! Give me some men! Beat the bastard to death! Beat him!"

The noblewomen broke their defences at once, looking hideous and roaring in a mad fury.

"You are interfering with the art of human civilisation! You are committing a felony by doing so!

Wait! Aigoo! My eye! Ouch! My leg! Don't hit it! Don't hit!"

Before Agamf could finish his sentence, he was punched in the eye.

After that, it felt like an uncountable number of punches were thrown all over his body.

The conflict erupted completely and he and several Orcs were soon overwhelmed with screams.

When the sun went down.

Only then did the noblewomen stop and warned.

"Agamf! This is our last warning! If you still dare to let your elves continue to dance! Seducing men! Next time it will be the end of you! You know what?

Don't think that Irish bastard will stand up for you! That old bastard! I've got my father warning him! If he ever interferes with me again, he'll get his ass kicked! Hmph!"

This was the wife of the Viscount of Ireland, a bejewelled, noblewoman in her early forties.

"..."

Arganoff and several of the Orcs were now bruised, with blood spilling from their mouths and noses, looking half dead and unable to respond.

When they saw them, the women didn't feel satisfied and spat at them several times before they left.

After a long time, one of the Orcs rose trembling from the ground and came to help Arganoff up, saying with difficulty.

"These human women, why are they so savage? Even our Orc women are not like this! Damn it! I almost got killed!"

"Aigoo~ Aigoo~ Go ... find a wagon and take me ... to the ... Temple of the Sun... ...find a priest, I ... need healing ..."

Agamf groaned repeatedly, his face full of pain.

The half-orc steeled himself and ran outside to find a carriage, after which he and the driver worked together to carry him up and to the Temple of the Sun for healing.

It took 10 silver labs at a time to get Agamf to relieve himself and lie down on the couch of his villa.

By now the entire living room of the cottage was filled with wounded Orcs, and somewhat terrified Elves.

"What now? Those savage human women warned us ... that if we ignore them this time, maybe next time someone will really get killed.

Several of our brothers here have broken bones in their hands and legs, and if we don't head straight to the temple for treatment and just rely on slow recovery, it will take at least six months."

One of the Orcs worried.

"Bah! Those damned crazy women! Do they know what foolishness they are doing? Good! Good enough! Won't let us stay open!

Then let's try it!

You lot get back in there right now! Back to Greenwood! Tell the master all about it! I'll make them look good!"

Arganoff roared as he slapped the table and chairs in anger.

.............

A few days later.

With a boom towards.

Rand descended from the sky, he had just flown around outside in a happy mood and was back in the green forest ready to enjoy a nice meal.

But a group of Orcs blocked the hole in the tree where he lived.

One of them, the moment he saw him, shouted.

"Master! Master! It's not good! Something's wrong!"

This voice immediately made Rand's heart jump instinctively, where had he heard that before?

His eyebrows and armour rose and he looked down at the small Orc in comparison to him, his memory instantly recognising him as one of the Orcs that had been sent to Arganoff.

Something had happened to Agamf?

His eyes narrowed slightly, flashing with a fierce light.

He would kill whoever fucking touched his money tree!

"Speak! What the hell is going on!"

Rand shouted at once.

But instead of impulsively killing him, he told the Orc to inform Arganoff and tell him to find out the strength of the Irish city and come back!

Thus, several more weeks passed.

Greenwood, on the grass.

There were three dragons, one large, two small, and a group of Orcs, Agamf himself, and Yakus sitting around.

In the centre, Rand sat crouching, his crimson eyes sweeping over Agamf and the others as he spoke slowly.

"Have you found out everything? How many troops are there in the city of the Viscount of Ireland? The senior professionals?"

"Master! I have found out everything!

The Viscount of Ireland has five thousand soldiers, three Archmages, two Archwarriors, and several other High Professionals in the city, as well as five Dragon Hunting Crossbows.

However, of those high ranking professionals, only three or four are really available to the Viscount of Ireland."

The more Arganoff spoke, the lower his voice became.

The people used here knew what those figures represented.

It meant that the other side was far more powerful than them!

If they wanted to deal with this kind of formation, I'm afraid that only legendary level powerhouses would be available!

And did their master ... possess legendary strength?

"Snort ..."

Rand's nostrils spewed out two streams of hot air, and his expression was somewhat unreadable:.

"Aganf you have done well! After that you can just go straight to the other noble territories and develop."

"What about the side of the ... Irish Viscounts? Are we just going to let them go?"

"Of course that's not going to happen! Never have I, Rand Sapphis Oakburn, bullied anyone! There is no such thing as someone bullying me! And this time will be no exception!"

"Lord Rand! Please don't be impulsive! The other side is, after all, a Viscount with a long lineage, and if war breaks out directly, I'm afraid we are no match."

Yakus frowned and had to warn.

Having lived in the Green Forest for a few months now, he had pretty much seen the strength of the place in his eyes, and at the moment, they were not particularly strong, excluding Rand.

But there was a lot of potential!

Because, there were three dragons!

As long as these three dragons continued to grow, it would be no problem at all to deal with a mere Viscount, but not now!

They had to be patient and keep growing!

Yakus didn't want the power he had just defected to to lose a lot of money or even perish because of a little thing.

"Yakus! Humanity's vision limits you after all!

What do you think war is like?

The two sides gather all their strength and then clash together in a hissing, shouting battle? To wield blades and swing staffs to unleash spells?

No! No! No! No! No! No! Real warfare is never something so superficial!"

Rand gave a weird, strange smile that made the others look unsure.

"And what is war, in your opinion?"

"Have you ever heard the saying?

The truth of war lies only within the range of the cannon!

And I! Rand Sapphis Oakburn holds the absolute truth!"

"Cannon, you say? I've heard of it, it seems to be a weapon of the Goblin Empire, with the ability to strike at long range, with enough power to rival a 3-ring fireball spell.

But what does it have to do with the truth?"

Yakus was a little confused.

"Don't understand? There's no relation! Before long, I think you'll understand! Grrrrr~"

Rand sneered, and under the uncomprehending gazes of many people, he shook his dragon wings and scampered up high into the sky to leave.
