Chương 16: [A Near Unbeatable Foe… His Name Is Chaos!]
'Hmm, but where is this insane ass power coming from though, every time I use [Divine Haki] it feels like it's takes a mind of its own.'
Clearing the air and lightening the mood I decided to speak up about the potential threat of demons they may face because of my interference of the adventurers.
"Uhm-uhm, by the way you should be wary of more intruders…"
"Another group of demons may come to take revenge don't you think?"
*Cough* *Cough* *Sigh*
"You're right that is another important matter we need to deal with but that's none of your concern…"
"Just so you know you'd better remember our agreement and that for any reason you decide to show me an act of disloyalty our contract would be voided and in that very moment you would become useless and replaceable to me."
"And don't forget that we are strictly acquainted for business relations at the moment."
"And just so you know I won't allow you to continue looking down on me…

"Don't let this get to your head ningen… you just happened to be the first one to find out about my existence and I also needed the information and gold you could help provide in my situation."
"The moment you decide to turn against me I'll burn this nation to the ground with no mercy or hesitation!"
"I-I see… well just leave things where they're at right now shall I deem it unnecessary to keep discussing such matters in front of my subjects!"
"Well whatever… do you happen to have some kind of magic item or something that will help us stay in frequent contact throughout my journey."
"Uhh, uhm yes that would makes sense I suppose… I think I have a good understanding of our agreement now, especially because how harshly you worded it ,I want nothing more then for us to help each other out in times of need..." *Smirk*
I pretended to not see the smirk on his face, I knew he had to be planning something or had other intentions of course he isn't that naive.
"But speaking of keeping in touch with us...I'll give you a magic amulet that will allow you to communicate with me and anyone else who has one."
He handed me a red diamond shaped amulet that I could imbue Magic power in.
"You can add as many people as you want by simply touching the two amulets together and imbuing mana into them."
"I appreciate this… but also I'd like to ask for a small reward in the form of gold enough to help make our travels easier since I currently have no currency, after that we will get out of your hair and be on our way."
"I see… so that's how it is huh, I guess I should've expected as much and i can't blame you at all as I would've said the same things if I were you…"
"I suppose it's better to let each other know where you both stand so there won't be any complications moving forward."
" But implore you in the future to not to act so arrogantly In front of other nation's leaders and their subjects it will greatly diminish their image and authority",said the Emperor with a smug look on his face.
'At this point I was merely testing his pride and resolve, I knew as well as any that an Emperor of his status wouldn't give in that easily even if it may cost him his life… he must have some underlying intentions amidst that he plans on seeing through, so I activated and let off some of my [Divine Haki] to remind him of who he was speaking to.'
"What the hell!?" Thi-This is impossible, this energy… it's even stronger now, stop before you destroy everything!",said the emperor.
Some of them were completely unconscious now with only a few still remaining with their consciousness in tact they were undoubtedly the strongest beings in the room besides me.
'I'm sure everybody in the Empire can feel the Haki he's emitting, this is definitely the gift of Divine inheritance allowing one to have the power to influence others, or even use their spiritual willpower to conquer and dominate others'.
'Yes, that one mythical power I've only heard about in old tales, there's no mistake about it this is 'Divine Haki'!'
'I can't believe it's true I thought maybe he just had more mastery of his Haki than I did even though he said he hasn't been alive that long. I knew it would be bound to happen eventually maybe in a couple centuries because of his unique bloodline,but to awaken it this early is unbelievable!'
'Only those with the strongest willpower and ambition have this unique ability, It's said that only the 10 Supreme Gods who hail as Divine Emperor's use this power to conquer many planets and civilizations hoping one day to reach ultimate authority and supremacy to even challenge the whole multiverse for the empty throne. We may very well be witnessing the beginning of a supreme ruler that will soon make his existence know far and wide across the lands,sky and seas.'
"Well, now that we have everything figured out we'll leave first thing tomorrow morning."
"I'll stop by to grab my reward shortly before we depart , I appreciate you giving me an audience on such short notice you all have my gratitude farewell Emperor William-Dono."
Everyone that remained conscious in the room was completely shocked and stunned at the site they had just witnessed they couldn't believe that the power they just felt would've come from this being that they'd thought was a mere Dragonborn just a few moments ago.
Who knows what was going through their heads right now they probably couldn't even process and take in and understand the conversation and what was actually being said.
So they should still be pretty much clueless about my existence I guess that's okay it doesn't matter much since I've done what I came to do the Emperor signaled for one of the captains of the royal knights to come into the room.
He came to give us an escort, so I decided to have have him take us to an inn closest to the Royal Capital and we left without any other words.

(Emperor POV)
"Listen! This is extremely alarming I can't believe what we all just witnessed!"
"The being that just stood before us… is something humans can't possibly win against in a head on battle of strength and will power alone!"
"I probably can't even hold a candle to that thing… I'm afraid as we are now we stand no chance against this creature!"
"So your majesty, you are saying he will continue to become even more dangerous a threat the more power,experience,knowledge and Allies he gains in this world the more we will be in danger?",Asked one of the elders.
"Yes, precisely we need to act in a way that draws the least amount of attention but we can't just let this be if angered he will be too formidable opponent for us to handle."
"Wouldn't our only option be to form a grand alliance?"
"Judging by his power it will take more than just us and the great kingdom to handle this, If needled I can make preparations immediately",said the secretary.
"We"ll have to let this play out first and monitor what actions he takes next."
"If he decides to subjugate or conquer any human nations we will surely gain allies who are willing to form an alliance with us as long as they know that the threat is real."
"No If we get too ahead of ourselves and show all our cards immediately he'll notice our intentions and snuff us out before we even had a chance just trust me on this!"
"Some of you are probably still confused and distraught about what you just witnessed I'll tell you the reason that is, what you witnessed just now was none other than the spirit of Divine Haki!" Said the emperor shocking everyone present.
"This power is that of the 10 Supreme Rulers of our universe, this is the inherent power of the gods and should not be taking lightly at any cost I don't know how he has this ability but it's indeed terrifying even to someone like me!"
"Y-You can't be serious?!"
"N-No way the power of the supreme deities?!"
"The fact that some of us still have our consciousness at this moment is evidence that everyone in this room right now possess admirable willpower from being knocked completely unconscious due to his presence."
"Those who lack the resolve to stand in face of this power will automatically lose consciousness and will faint from their sheer presence alone."
"I get the feeling that it will be even more powerful in the future the stronger the more experience he gains and the more battles he fights!"
"So listen up... We are on now on high alert, don't let this information get out to anybody but our main forces..." the emperor said with a hint of fear in voice.
"This is top secret information we can't let he citizens know about this or it will cause them to panic."
"So we need to be careful about how we make our next moves, we can't have anybody letting this info get out or it may very well mean our life."
"Our only objective now is to slowly try to obtain any information we can without drawing any attention to ourselves and remain vigilant on the situation!!"
"Yes, Understood My Lord as you command!",as everyone in the room bowed.
