Chương 4: [First Evolution!]

When I woke up I heard the notification saying I evolved It kinda took me by surprise. I didn't even know how long I slept.
When I first woke up I felt a little lightheaded at first , but my vision finally came back to me. I finally opened my eyes and could now see for the first time.
"Woah what's all these black magic particle like things surrounding me? It's kinda freaking me out!"
[Kana]:
[This is due to master's birth and an overwhelming abundance of magicules and mana. In return the surrounding areas in the cave rich with magic energy causing rare monsters to spawn nearby.]
"Really, what the hell! So the mana and magicules coming from my body were so strong that it caused monsters to be born from it? That's pretty amazing, but also feels just creepy and unnatural hahaha!"
A small chill ran up my spine learning that I could spawn random creatures and monsters from my magicules. They would be pretty weak though seeing that I'm still a newborn, but it made me think this ability would become very useful in the future.
I felt like I had only slept for an hour. I was still groggy closing my eyes completely on several occasions, I almost nodded back off to sleep before I finally decided to ask how long I had been sleeping for.
"Kana, do you know how long I've slept?"
[Kana]:
[Yes, master has slept for a total of 36 hours. Your evolution went quicker than I calculated.]
I gulped in surprise only to remember I was a dragon who sleeps for several years at a time if not more.
Therefore, it was only like a little nap to me. It made me realize that I still felt so tired and out of energy, I would need to do something about that quickly.
"I don't want to sleep for 100's of year's I have things to do people to meet, women to flirt with and brains to bash hahaha!"
"Kana can I check my status please?"

To say the least, Chaos started off too op but when compared to all the powerful people who might be known to roam in this world It most likely wouldn't be that bad I guess we'll have to wait and see.
I honestly didn't think he would evolve as soon as I was born, it must be my bloodline and Kana speeding up the evolution process.
My level is very low even compared to normal humans or monsters but our stats, Magic power, and mana are incomparable. The inherent lineage factor and race of my benefactor allowed me to start off so strong already.
All my skills are very relevant too. I guess I need to head out and see what this world has to offer, I'll test my power on some monsters or something nearby. Hopefully I can level up a bit in the process and so my journey begins.
But what's the color of my mana core mean? I've never really seen in mana cores in anime before and they were only briefly mentioned in some of the light novels I've read.
[Kana]:
[Your mana core is the essential thing for all races
have to store their mana. When you are newly born, most start off with a dark black mana core, It will be full of impurities at first but as time goes on these impurities can be purified. This is done by mastering control of your energy and mana pool.]

[This will be especially hard for you because you have an unlimited amount of mana. It will be harder and more difficult for you to learn to control it. Therefore, being harder to get rid of the impurities, and it may eventually lead to death…Luckily you just so happened to start off at a dark yellow color stage which is extremely powerful for your age, so you should be fine for now.]
"Ahh I see, so since I have infinite mana I need to purify my core as quickly as possible. Or-or, w-wait you just said…it may lead to my death?!"
[Kana]:
[<<Yes, that is correct.>>]
"Wait what?! Aghhh, I knew I heard you right!"
"H-How could you just say that so coldly?!"
[Kana]:
[<<Don't worry I will continue to regulate how much mana you release and filter in, but training your body and mana control while actively purifying your core is on you master…>>]
"O-Okay that sounds a little better I guess…How many colors can your mana core be anyways, this sounds tiring?"
[Kana]:
[<<Answer: Black, red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple, silver, white, and then finally golden would be the color of a completely purified mana core.]
"Jeez, I still got a long way to go then how do can I strengthen my mana core and get it to purify faster by consuming other mana cores?"
[Kana]:
[<<Yes that is correct, however they have to be comparable in power to have any significant benefits…>>]
"Yeah… I figured as much, anyways that's all good to know. Thanks for the info Kana!"

My goal in this world is to follow my mother's will of re-uniting the dragon and Dragonborn race. She also said I could potentially marry the dragon queen which made my instincts and fantasies run wild. I wonder how beautiful she would be and better yet how old was she.
I also wanted to one day rule over all and conquer different planets and universes. If I can manage to acquire a lower that lets me transcend space and time.
Yes I know it's kind of a silly, corny or worthless dream as well as very far fetched, but I always pictured myself playing the role of a benevolent king who ruled over his people with peace and prosperity rather than chaos and violence although it's kind of ironic that I'm now the physical embodiment of chaos, literally.
I've always wanted to do this type of stuff it's like I'm in a video game. Becoming an overlord that rules over every race sounds and having a vast amount of rare treasures and items sounds very intriguing! I wonder just how long it will take to build my own kingdom better yet how big will my harem be?
I still have to get a hell of a lot stronger to see this dream come to fruition though. I would also need to find suitable subordinates and loyal followers to help me on my journey and eventually become guardians, that would protect my nation.
I would probably run into a bit of trouble though as I would also need to convince citizens that it's safe and prosperous to live in my nation and show them that no harm will come to them.
That will all have to wait right now I need to find the nearest civilization to find out more information about this world since I currently don't have a clue which is pretty troublesome but possible.
