Chương 7: CHAPTER 7- The full moon night
Zeus finally woke up from his nightmare. He could not believe what he saw in his dreams. He looked at his surroundings. But he saw Ryu was standing before them. It looks like he was guarding them. Zeus was shocked to see Ryu standing like that. Vargas was sleeping with his nose and mouth covered with cloth.
"Why are you standing there? Is something wrong? " Zeus asked Ryu.
Ryu turned back and saw them. Vargas just woke up and When he smelled it, he became alert.
"Do you fools have any idea about this place? Why are you sleeping here? Why are you sleeping next to this forest? " Ryu said.
Ryu's voice was different than usual. His voice sounded like an older person and he knew all about this place.
Their conversation just broke Verglas' deep sleep. He saw that the two of them were talking so much about something. Vargas was surprised to learn that Ryu knew about this forest.
"How do you know about that, Ryu?",Vargas asked.
"It's not time to argue. We are in danger. Today is a full moon night. Monetha is at her highest strength now. Stay on guard and cover your nose. It can hypnotise you", Ryu said to them.
Now they were on high alert. But they already inhaled most of the polen. Suddenly they heard a girl screaming. They all heard it at the same time and reacted to it. Vargas jumped over the river and ran into the forest.
"Who is she? I heard her voice before! Why couldn't I stand there? " Vargas murmured.
Zeus was shocked to see this sudden behavior of Vargas. He wanted to follow Vargas, so he tried to jump over the river.
"Stop you fools. She isn't real. It is her trick. Don't fall for it. " Ryu said.
Ryu uses his power to stop both of them and pull back to his side of the river.
"We all heard the sound. If only one of us could have heard it , it was fake. But we all heard, right. Someone is in danger. Someone I knew", Vargas told them and decided to go to the forest.
Zeus agrees with Vargas to help her. Ryu could not just stay there but to go with them.
Zeus started to feel the difference between Ryu's voice and his behaviour. He wasn't like that. Ryu is the kind of person who will help whoever is in danger. Zeus just understands this sudden change of his behaviour.
So they get into the forest. It's not hard to see because of the moonlight. They started to run in that direction.
After a few minutes of running,they again heard that scream from somewhere behind. So they were going back to that place. As soon as they started running, all of a sudden they could hear her screams from all around.
"See,what I said. We fall into her trap", Ryu said.
Verglas used his 'Mantra' and spread it all over like a ring. Now the sound has stopped. Ryu used his ability to locate her. He spread his hand and used his power like a ball and felt every atom to locate her. It is his ability but in advanced mode.
"I found her. A girl, a young girl, is in the belly of a big flower, Monetha. And that flower is Monetha," Ryu said.
As Zeus heard the term 'flower', he finally realised what Zeus he saw in his dream. He realised that the flower petal was none other but Monetha herself.
" So Monetha is a flower", Zeus said.
"Yes, it's been here for more than 1000 years and she devoured all of the living being in this forest", Vargas said.
"You knew that all along. And you took us here. You know there is no way out if we enter at full moon night. Monetha is everywhere in this forest, connected each and every trees. ", Ryu said.
Ryu looked so angry at Vargas and was going to attack her. But suddenly he stopped after hearing Zeus. His words just surprised him.
"Who are you? You are not our Ryu!", Zeus said. Zeus stepped back one by one foot.
Vargas looked at Ryu suspiciously.
"You find out. What a clever boy you are. Oh it's all a matter of time," Ryu said.
Verglas and Zeus were about to start a fight with this intruder.
"I'm Red, Sir Eustace Red!"Red in Ryu's body said. Ryu laughed a terrible laugh. Then Red left and Ryu found himself back to his former self.
Both of them were worried about Ryu. They don't know if it is actually Ryu's body or a totally different stanger who kidnapped Ryu when they were sleeping.
"Where is Ryu? Where did you take him ? What did you do to him?" Zeus said.
"What are you saying guys? And where are we? Aren't we sleeping?" Ryu said suddenly.
All of a sudden when the real Ryu finally talks to them with his true self , they finally calm down.
"Are you kidding with us Ryu", Zeus said angrily.
Zeus was about to slap Ryu on his face. Verglas stopped Zeus and said "wait, I felt two life aura's coming out from Ryu's body. I don't think Ryu was kidding. Maybe Ryu was spelled when we were sleeping or maybe something else which is beyond of our understanding. We should focus on this situation".
Ryu was totally unaware of this situation. "Hey guys, can anybody tell me what is going on? And why are we here now?".
"I will tell the whole story later. Now just stay focused and don't fall into traps and survive no matter what", Verglas said to Ryu.
Hearing these words from Vargas, Ryu started to get a little scared. At the time of J-9, Vargas was not as cautious as he was now.
"Listen everyone, you both go to the other side of the river. I will stay here and back you both up", Vergas said. Now,he looked serious.
But they were not willing to leave Vargas alone.They wanted to fight together.
"No, we can't let you stay here all by yourself. We both came here together and we will go out together", Zeus said.
"Zeus is right. No matter how tough the situation is, we should stay together",Ryu said.
Vergas was overwhelmed from inside but his face looks different from what he feels. "It's an order. Don't underestimate your master. Do what I say!", Vergas said angrily.
"No, we can't. We have to back eachother up", Ryu said.
Vergas looks silent. He looked at the forest. He didn't care about what they said.
They just lost their hopes. They stood there for about ten seconds and got back to that place. They ran to that spot as fast as they could. Silent voices rumbling all over their ears.
"Don't look back, Ryu", Zeus said.
"Now it's time", Verglas said. He took a deep breath and ran towards the nest of Monetha.
