Chương 46: Chapter-46
Repairing and construction were happening in the most part of leaf village, Jiraya was preparing to leave in search of Tsunade. He decided to take Naruto with him. He also offered Sasuke to join them but Sasuke said he has to take care of something, he will join them later. Sasuke has waiting for Itachi, he told Kurama to keep an eye for two new chakra, one should just like him an Uchiha chakra and other should be in huge amount, almost like of a tailed beast. If Itachi doesn't show up in village then he will follow Naruto, chances are that they will try to capture him.
Kurama sensed the kind of chakra Sasuke mentioned and inform him. Sasuke follow the direction Kurama mentioned and there he was, Itachi Uchiha. When Sasuke reached the location, two parties were fighting. Kakashi was in front and Asuma and Kurenai were behind him. Kakashi was still standing so he haven't put under tsukuyomi by Itachi yet. When Sasuke saw Itachi, he didn't shout, he called his name in a cold voice.
SASUKE: "Itachi."
ITACHI: "It has been a long time Sasuke."
Guy also arrived at the scene at this moment
GUY: "What do we have here?"
KAKASHI: "Be careful Sasuke, I know you are strong but Itachi is a S-class missing-nin, don't lake him lightly."
SASUKE: "Don't worry Kakashi, it is time for us brother to settle this so don't interfere. It is time for our final fight Itachi."
ITACHI: "Go away, I have no interest in you, you don't have enough hate."
Sasuke sighed,
SASUKE: "I know the truth Itachi, so lets not waste each other time. You killed my mom and I will never forgive you for that. It is time for you to pay for the death of hundreds of civilians and children of Uchiha clan. And don't worry, you won't be alone, you can have reunion with others responsible for that day in afterlife.
Few days ago I fought a man who was using Shisui's eye, you will meet him in hell with the other three who knew the truth of that day. It is a pity that your friend's eye got destroyed otherwise I will have the pair after killing you."
Sasuke neither raised his voice nor showed any anger, he was calm and only said enough for Itachi to know and no one else.
ITACHI: "You….you know the truth! How?"
Itachi's expression changed, his calm expression turn to shock. He did not expect Sasuke to know the truth. Only six people knew the truth of that day. Hokage, Danzo, Koharu, Homura, 'Madara(Obito)' and him. He understood that Sasuke killed Danzo(man with Shisui's eye) and Hokage died at the hands of Orochimaru.
SASUKE: "Doesn't matter, what matters is that you are going to die today. I don't think this place is right for either our conversation or final show down. Do you have any place in mind?"
Itachi was afraid of Sasuke knowing the truth and going after Konoha. He was prepared for Sasuke killing him someday, but the thing that worried him was 'Madara' trying to manipulate Sasuke after his death in acting against Konoha. He wanted to ask Sasuke if he is going to destroy the leaf village for his revenge but decided to hold the question till they reach the place in his mind for final battle.
ITACHI: "Yeah, follow me."
Kakshi, Guy, Asuma and Kurenai, were confused by their conversation. For them Itachi was a very dangerous criminal who betrayed the leaf village. Now these brothers were talking about some truth of Uchiha clan and other people who knew about it. They cannot follow their conversation.
KAKASHI: "Sasuke, what are you two talking about? What is the truth of Uchiha clan, and I don't think it is a good idea to leave with Itachi alone."
SASUKE: "Don't worry about it Kakashi. It all happened in the past, it doesn't matter. Itachi won't do anything to me, just stay in the village. I will be back after some time.
(Sasuke looked in direction of Itachi) You wished to be killed by me didn't you? Let me fulfill your wish."
Kisame was also very confuse with the conversation between brothers, and now Itachi was leaving.
KISAME: "Hey Itachi, what are you two talking about? And where are you going?"
ITACHI: "You should return Kisame, I won't be going back with you."
SASUKE: "You should run Sharkface, if you manage to survive, tell 'fake Madara' that I will be coming for him too.
(Sasuke turn to Guy)
Guy sensei be careful, other three (Kakashi, Asuma and Kurenai) won't be able to handle this shark. If you fight him inside village, then there will be a lot of destruction and casualty, also you will need to open seventh gate and go all out if you want to take him down. Jiraya sensei left the village this morning so you are the only one strong enough to take him one on one. Be aware of samehada he is carrying, it absorbs chakra."
Kisame was not afraid of the four ninja in front of him but he was not stupid to fight them in the leaf village where they will get immediate reinforcement. Also he knew that Itachi is not going to be of any help so wise decision for him is to leave. He dropped the idea of kidnapping Naruto and decided to leave as fast as he could. No one tried to follow him, it was best if he leave the village. Orochimaru's attack already destroyed good portion of village and it was not wise to engage a S-class ninja in the middle of village.
Itachi and Sasuke also left, Guy and Kakashi tried to join him but Sasuke told them that it was personal matter and also they should stay in village and protect it since Jiraya already left and they are the strongest ninja present at the moment. Previous Hokage died and next Hokage hasn't been selected yet so they cannot leave the village like that so they were left with no other option than to stay.
