Chương 16: FIFTEEN
Late Mario Falcone Manor, Gotham City.
(General POV)
The last one minute of battle, (if even it could be called a battle), involving the green goblin and Lady Shiva was filled with her constantly trying to gut him with her sword while he dodged and applied jabs to her pressure points.
Eventually having her pressure points getting hit by the green goblin, considerably weakened her till she dropped her weapon in defeat. Ray left totally confident in his victory sauntered forward to finish the job, forgetting for a moment who his opponent is.
The instant he got close enough, the seemingly weakened assassin picked up her weapon and swung the sharp blade so fast it would be impossible for the average human eye to perceive.
Unfortunately for her Raymond had been practicing dodging bullets with his sister Selina. While the attack was a surprise to him, his basic training instinct kicked in and he swung his fist at the flat side of the incoming blade. Upon contact, the dense well forged blade cracked and shattered into numerous pieces.
A grunt of pain escaped the lips of Lady Shiva, the force of the blade getting smacked out of her hand, had snapped her wrist. Now she's left weakened, with aching pressure points and a fractured wrist.
Green goblin stared at the apex assassin for a moment and let out a tired sigh before saying,
"You are a stubborn woman, but enough of this. I have a sister to look after." This time there was no resistance as Raymond delivered a smack to the back of her neck and sent her to sleep.
Ray carried the unconscious woman on his shoulder and climbed onto his glider. Together they flew out the building and were halfway to their destination, when a batarang hit the glider.
Looking towards the direction of his latest assailant, Raymond sees the batman glaring at him. Another sigh leaves Ray's mouth, he can't help but think he has done that a lot this night.

(Switching to MC's POV)
This asshole couldn't help me save Selina or beat Sofia, Mario and even lady Shiva but he can come to me all judgemental about my actions. Sigh, let's just get this over with.
"What do you want Bruce?" His glare seems to intensify with my calling his real name.
"What did you do?"
"Ummm, let me think. Ok I went to my brother's house, killed him and my sister, rescued my other sister and captured lady Shiva. Oh right almost forgot, I also killed deadshot." I watch batman contemplate my words in silence and then with a resigned sigh he says,
"I'm bringing you in." Here we go again.This time I do not bother trying to talk him out of the bout, I'll just beat him into not wanting to fight me ever again.

(General POV)
Batman dodged under another punch that tore clean through the wall behind him. Bruce could not help but click his tongue at the thought of the wall being his head.
He would regret getting distracted though, as Ray pulled the arm from the wall so fast that it smacked batman hard enough to fling him all the way to the other end of the room.
Green goblin pressed his advantage as he briskly walked up to the downed batman and kicks him through a wall and sends him into the neighbouring room.
Groaning in pain, batman tries to crawl back onto his feet but struggles and spits out the blood rushing to his throat. His guts feels all messed up and his forearms and legs feel stiff from constantly blocking green goblins punches and kicks. Each attack by the goblin felt like getting hit by a truck.
But batman doesn't give up, does he? So the dark knight pulled out one of his grapple gun and shoot it straight at green goblin's arm. The hook hits it target and tears into Raymond's skin, drawing blood and a grunt of pain from him.
The hook now firmly lodged in goblin's right arm, batman activates the pull mechanism of the gadget, trying to pull the now bleeding boy into his fist. The sharp pull causes green goblin to stumble forward at first, but he digs his feet into the ground and returns the favour, fighting through the pain.
The resilience of green goblin is unexpected by Batman, and his plan goes south as he is instead pulled towards a roundhouse kick from the green goblin directly to the face. Just before his mind goes blank, Bruce felt his nose and face sink in. He would never look the same again.

(MC's POV)
After defeating batman for the second time, I go to pick up my hostage but I do not find her where I left her. Fuck you Bruce, this is all your fault. Must you be a good guy and try to arrest me for killing my siblings in self defense. Sigh, I'm going home, I can't deal with Selina in this state.
I climb onto my glider again and leave the area. Just as I'm four blocks away from the spot I knocked out batman, a throwing knife flies out if the shadows and pierces my left thigh. Fuck!
Another asshole has come to interrupt my well deserved rest, and I promise this one will die. Fixing my eyes on the spot the knife came from, I make out a tall figure hiding in the shadows.
Knowing their cover is no longrr secure, the person walks out of the darkness for me to see. I find myself staring at a figure dressed in a black odd looking outfit. On the figures shoulder is an owl that is staring right back at me.
I pull out a gun from my glider and unload the powerful bullet in the skull of the new guy. The bullet did not miss, and the forcr threw him off the roof and into the ground, way down below us. Now time for me to go home and sleep.
Just as I begin to leave, the owl flies towards me and drops a letter on my glider. What world is this, Harry Potter?
I tear open the letter an begin reading through the contents, it read;
'Beware The Court of Owls, that watches all the time, ruling Gotham from a shadow perch, behind granite and lime. They watch you at your hearth, they watch you in your bed, speak not a whispered word of them or they'll send The Talon for your head'
Hmmm, so the court of owls are after me now. Great ROB, what did I do to deserve this. You know what, sleep first deal with this later.
Seriously, FUCK MY LIFE.
