He punched his number in her phone and handed it over to her. Rejoice quickly dialed it and when a phone rang in Derek's pocket, she said,

"That's my number. I called you so you could have mine as well. It was so good to see you again, Derek. You have no idea how I have wished to meet you again." She said with true honesty.

Derek just gave a terse nod. "I'm glad. Now if you would excuse me, I really have to leave now."

"Sure. I'm also leaving anyway."

They both went to the parking lot and Rejoice sauntered towards her car. She expected to see Derek go get his car too but He was just leaving the premises.

"Derek? You don't have a car? I can drop you off if you don't mind?" She quickly offered and walked toards him with a concerned look.

"Thanks for the offer, but I'm good. I'll just catch the early bus and..."
