Chương 148: Picnic

It was a really nice day. They had a picnic at the city square, near the fountain where many people even lay down on the ground, using only their jackets as the lining and enjoying the sun.

In just one night, the awkwardness between Elena and Xavier was gone. She realized the man was kind to her despite his outward demeanor which often looked disinterested and aloof.

Now she always felt comfortable around him because of the experience during their Truth or Dare game. Not once did he put her in a tough spot even though he could do it.

Well, except for one time when he asked her the Truth about her sex fantasy, thanks to Shiro's provocation, and Elena had to drink a glass of champagne for that.

However, she could tell now that he was just pulling her leg. Of all people, he must know better that she didn't really have a sexual fantasy because she had not even been able to get rid of her virginity.
