Linda's eyes softened a little as Karl sounded convincing, but she didn't drop her guard down entirely. 

"I can understand what she must be going through. It isn't entirely your fault somehow... even I ended up hurting her" she expressed.

Karl pursed his lips, giving her a pitiful nod, and watched her finish her work and soon left the office.

"By the way, does your family knows about the baby," Karl asked as they made their way out of the company's building.

Linda was startled but quickly composed herself as she answered.

"No... you are the first person. I wonder what my grandfather will do if he comes to learn about the baby" Linda stated with a depressing tone.

Now that Karl accepted the truth, she couldn't wait to play her next cards. She had to marry him and transfer the shares under her name.

While She kept talking, Linda noticed Ryan standing at a distance and her eyes widen in shock.
