Chương 145: Danger too

Ivo listened to himself tell Thiago, Alina and Yunmi everything Vital had told him and Vice. It was an odd feeling, distant, like watching something play on the holo.

None of them interrupted him, but their faces would reveal a glimpse of their thoughts from time to time, so Ivo took to looking down at his feet, or at his fidgeting hands, until the whole thing was out of him.

"So...I guess that's all." He cleared his throat and glanced in Davi's direction for support.

Davi was leaning against the workstation, arms crossed in front of his chest, and simply shrugged noncommittally. "Like I told you in the rooftop, I think Vital is hiding something."

Alina looked shell-shocked, her eyes wide and unblinking. "That's uh...that's a lot to take in all at once."
