Davi left the bathroom with a towel wrapped around his waist, dripping water all over the floor. By then, Ivo was sitting at the counter with a bowl of heated pasta. His eyes cut to Davi's back as he reached for a glass high up in a cupboard.
The red star moved with the shift of his sinews, drawing the eye. The water droplets clinging to it made it look brighter, alive somehow.
If Ivo had won the bet he knew what he'd ask for. He would ask Davi to tell him about the star.
"Have you decided what you want? For the bet?" He kept his voice down so Alina wouldn't overhear them. She seemed engrossed in something in the workstation, but the apartment was too small for any kind of privacy.
Davi flashed him a sideways grin, a quick glimpse of brilliant white teeth against his burnished skin. "I decided to keep you on your toes."
"What do you mean?" Ivo licked his lower lip, avoiding Davi's eyes.
Davi: can't have panem et circenses without the circus
Alina: but it's not like we have the panem either? where's the bread.
Thiago: with this new PXVR technology everyone will be able to taste it! Which is almost as good as eating it.
Ivo: but what does this have to do with the space station?
