How did he end up in this awkward situation? 

"Damn." He held his position, unable to move an inch, not wanting to wake her up. His mind worked overtime to resolve his unusual predicament.

Suddenly, he wanted to regret taking her with him since he did not need her on this trip. She should not have accompanied him on his private plane. Instead, she should have taken the commercial flight.

Hence, why did he pick her up at her place when it was out of his way? Why should he go to the trouble? Honestly, he had never brought any of his previous assistants on his trips. So, why now? It made no sense to him.

"But it made perfect sense." His mind seemed to taunt him, but he quickly shook his head, shoving the thought away. He only brought her because his grandfather ordered it. Still, it was not enough reason.
