The reason for such a commotion began with the fact that 52 of the 81 States of the Godslayer Humankind Empire had formed a cordon that limited movement in and out of the Prometheus Sector. No matter how high your background, no one was allowed to get in or out without the authorization of the Scarlet Alliance.

This could already be considered a clear sign of treason against the Imperial Court, but the Scarlet Alliance went one step further. Its great generals formed even tighter perimeters around the Silver City, flanking it from the four cardinal directions. They were not alone since the forces of the Diamond Saint Duke and the Hellblazer Family supported the siege of Eden.
