Chương 92: Softhearted thing
Petra's bedroom
Meanwhile, Petra was busy watching one of her favorite movie in her laptop.
"Come in." She responded to the knock on the door.
Walking into the room, Sebastian shut the door and made his way towards her.
"Seb, you haven't slept yet? Where is Jin?" After the expensive spree they displayed during breakfast, Petra began to think suspicious of them. And to make thoughts become reality, Zhou instructed her to accomodate Jin-joo at her place for the night, until further notice. Causing Petra to suspect something suspicious between her son and Jin-joo.
Sitting on the bedside, he remarked, "She's asleep in my room." Pausing for a while, he cleared his throat, "Mom, we need to talk."
"Is it so important that it can't wait till the morning?" When Sebastian raised his brows, she put down her laptop, "Okay what is it you want to talk about?"
Crossing his arms, he took a deep breath. Keeping his expression neutral, he inquired, "Mom, I'm going to ask you a simple question and I'll want a simple answer in return, is that okay by you?"
"Sure, what is it?"
"What connection do you have with Mr Grayson Flynn?" When she gave a shocking expression, he added, "I asked a question mom."
Ignoring his questions, she instructed, "Sebastian, it's late, you should get to bed now." Without waiting for him to say anything, she turned off the laptop and was about to lay down when he held her hand.
"We aren't done talking Mom. I asked for the last time, what business do you have with Mr Grayson Flynn?"
Petra was startled on her son's reaction. She has no idea how he found out about her present affair with Grayson.
Pretending to be bossy, she turn her face to one side, "There's nothing between your father and I."
"Didn't I say no one should ever address him as my father? For goodness sake mom, I am fatherless. I don't have a father, my only parent is you, how many more times do I have to repeat that?" He retorted.
Holding his hand, she tried to explain when he jerked her hand off his. Petra felt a sensation of rejection. Wait a minute, is her son hating her now? Oh no, it shouldn't be what she's thinking. But she felt her heart numbed for a second. What is happening now?
"You're having an affair with our enemy? Mom how could you be so cheap?" Standing up, he ran his fingers through his hair, "That man is a lucifer and you went back to him."
"No Seb, believe me, I didn't go back to him. He–he was the one who was after me again, I swear." Petra had to defend herself and to save herself and her mother–son relationship. She's afraid of losing her son. Because she knew that when Sebastian hates someone, he hates him for eternity.
"Really, then prove it, oh yes mother, prove it to me that you aren't having an affair with that son of a nobody."
"Seb I swear, I–"
Cutting her off, he yelled, "Reports came to me today that you officially went back to dad. Mom how could you be so cheap for a man like him. This is the same idiot whom left us in the dark for fucking twenty-three years, how could you stoop so low, mother?"
Bursting into tears, Petra clutched her hands on her hair and wept bitterly.
"You knew how much Nelly and I hate him with birse. He is not worth to be called a father let alone a husband. He is a big shame to men linage, such a disgusting, irritating, annoying, useless, filthy–"
Cutting him off, she yelled still in tears, "Sebastian stop it! Please stop calling him all sort of negative names. No matter what happened he is still your biological father. Your birth father."
"That's it! That's the problem we have here, he is not my father, don't you understand? Is that too much for you to get? I hate him forever, he is not worthy to be called someone's father." He snapped with high rage of anger in his cold eyes.
