Chương 14: The Black Market Part - 3/4

Brandon, the cloaked young man, and the tall man stood to the side and waited. Leon directed his gaze to the man wearing the white suit.

"My daughter will turn Fifteen years old in a week and I want to give her a good Pokemon. She will start her journey across the region to challenge the League."

The white-suited middle-aged man wanted to start his daughter off strong. Leon spoke about getting any Pokemon and any talent for it.

Note that Leon was only doing this for a limited time. This was only to make himself a quick buck and that was it.

"I can, but how much are you willing to pay?" Leon was trying to see how far the suited man was willing to go.

"Money isn't an issue, the better its aptitude the more I'll be willing to pay." The man looked around and didn't want to say much.

Leon understood what the man was hinting at. This was the Black market, so it was best to be careful about what he wanted to say.

"I understand mister, can you please step aside? I will talk to you later to set up an appointment."

The man understood what Leon was trying to relay before nodding and stepping aside. Afterward, Leon began to sell the Caterpie, Weedle, and Spinarak eggs.

This easily made him ₽51,500 since each Weedle and Caterpie had a Yellow talent. He sold the Four eggs for ₽12,000 each. As for the Four Red Aptitude Spinarak, they didn't sell at all.

One of the Spinarak had an Orange aptitude, so it sold for ₽5,000.

If anyone could see Leon's eyes, they would see stars due to his overwhelming joy.

Leon couldn't get a Bank account or Alliance card to hold his money until he turned Fifteen. This was the eligible age to start challenging the league and traveling.

The woman from before came over to speak with Leon. She was Eighteen and wore that pink dress.

She stood around 5'10 and had blonde hair, green eyes, and fair skin. Before she could say anything, a group of men arrived on the scene.

They were the men that the cloaked youth had called a while ago. There were seven of them, and they had two Arcanine guarding them.

"Well, here's all the money for the Poliwag." The cloaked youth had the men place the duffle bag of money on the desk.

Leon wasn't sure if all the money in the bag was ₽150,000, so he summoned a Kadabra to confirm it. The few people around the stall showed a change in expression, but they didn't say anything.

Kadabra confirmed that ₽150,000 was inside the black duffle bag. He browsed through the bag of money and knew it was real. Leon placed the duffle bag underneath the desk near his feet.

Without hesitation, Leon brought up his Pokemon Home and selected the Give Away option.

"Thank you for your sale. If you can come by my gym sometime, that would be nice. Here's my business card so you can contact me."

Brandon took out his business card that said Fitness Champs before handing it to Leon.

"Hmm, I may or may not contact you for future transactions." Leon smiled before putting the card into his pocket.

Afterward, Brandon nodded toward the cloaked youth. Before leaving, Brandon summoned a Pokemon.

Brandon didn't forget where he was. This was the Black market where robbery and murder occurred often.

Brandon summoned a Golem for protection. Afterward, he left the place with a content expression.

As much as people wanted to buy some Pokemon from the fish tank, they couldn't afford it.

Leon turned to the others, particularly the white-suited middle-aged man and the pink-dressed woman.

"Just to let you know, request and handling will cost extra. I just wanted to point that out for you guys before you start making requests."

Leon didn't plan to do this often since it would become problematic if this kept happening. He had a feeling that people may start to scheme against him.

"I understand. I would like to put in a request for a certain Pokemon. By the way, money isn't an issue, just name your price." The formally dressed man's tone was polite and sincere.

"I understand as well. Money isn't a problem and I would also like to personally request some Pokemon."

The woman wearing the pink dress didn't lag behind, she too spoke up with sincerity.

'I was expecting this to happen eventually, but I didn't think it would happen on my first day here.' After nodding to himself, Leon took out a paper and pen before pushing them forward.

"Here, I sell Pokemon strictly and nothing else. Fill this out so I can remember what you guys want. No matter the Pokemon, as long as it isn't something legendary, I can have it for you in Three days."

When they saw the paper's coloration, they were stunned. This was because it was black instead of the common white.

"Don't worry, the ink is white, this is just a special request paper." Both their eyes brightened upon hearing this.

If they could tie this type of Pokemon merchant down, their families would have a great future ahead of them.

Both parties looked at the paper and saw simple questions.

In Leon's honest opinion, the Request Cost and Handling Cost were too much. At least when they were on this Contract receipt at the same time.

However, Leon was only doing this to make money. Of course, with his knowledge in knowing that such high-aptitude Pokemon were rare. He naturally took advantage of this.

Seeing the two proceed to answer the questions without cringing, Leon was relieved. The cloaked youth peeked at the contract receipt with widened eyes.

Once they were done filling out their contracts, they both pushed them toward Leon. He inspected them and laughed, he knew they would want the best of the best.

Clinton Loverett was the white-suited man's name. The woman in the pink dress was named Elena Fields.

'Hahaha, both went deep and requested [Magenta-Graded] Pokemon. These two are about to turn me into a millionaire!'

He had to calm his heart down. Leon knew he could get super rich by selling Pokemon of such an aptitude. However, the reality of the matter still caused his heart to jump.

Afterward, Leon began to fill out his portion.

He put the cost of everything on both papers before asking them a question. Leon wanted to know when they could procure the money.

Both checked the sum, which was in the millions. Both had in fact, ordered two Pokemon each.

Leon was seeing money signs because he could boost the price even further due to their Pokemon not being native to Kanto.

Clinton had one Pokemon that was native to Kanto, so his cost wasn't so high but still high at the same time.

However, Elena would have to pay a hefty price, this was also because of their aptitudes. Not to mention that one of her Pokemon was from another region.

"I hope Mister Salesman can live up to our expectations." Elena smiled hopefully, she really prayed that Leon would be true to his word and to this Contract receipt.

"Indeed, I putting my hopes on you Mr. Salesman," Clinton smirked, but it seemed forced. It was clear that he still may have some doubts.

Before Leon could reply, they both answered Leon's question from earlier. They both stated the time they could procure such a large sum of money.

"This completes the contract receipt, so now we both need a copy each." The receipt contract had been printed by him. He used his parent's printer to do this sometime back.

"Come out, Smeargle, use Sketch!"

"Smeargle!"

Smeargle appeared and proceeded to sketch up a copy of the contract receipt perfectly.

It looked as if it had just gotten printed off the computer.

Clinton was taken aback before being handed the created copy. Leon handed both of them a copy and told them to be on time in three days.

"Also, for assurance, you can rent a measuring meter to double-check your Pokemon," Leon added.

"Ah, right, will do. I hope to see you again with the goods." Elena came out of her daze and smiled before bowing slightly and leaving.

"Indeed, you take care now, I can't wait to see the results." Clinton nodded and turned to leave as well.

They both had started to hand out their business cards, but they wanted to wait to see the results in three days.

Leon opened the desk drawer and placed both receipt contracts inside.

'It's regrettable that I can't store items and only Pokemon.' This meant Leon couldn't even store the money he had made.

"Sir, merchant, I was wondering if I could talk to you privately?" The cloaked youth suddenly spoke up.

"You can speak here, I only sell Pokemon." Leon wasn't keen on leaving yet, he had just gotten here.

"I see you want to make money, well, I can help you with that." The cloaked youth watched Leon and found that the money he needed was urgent.

Right then, the tall masked man came over and handed Leon a card.

"The Florain Auction House?" Leon gazed at the cloaked youth and understood who this was.

"Yes, we'd like to invite you to our Auction House Two weeks from now. You can even put some Pokemon on auction and make a large profit."

The cloaked youth took out a Golden card from his pocket and handed it to Leon.

"This is our V.I.P Card, this will allow you to get your own room. If you want you can bring up to Four guests with you as well."

The card said Florain Auction House, Golden V.I.P Card. This card was a top-priority V.I.P. card, obviously greater than the Silver and Bronze cards.

"I'll be sure to drop by and see what this auction house is all about," Leon smirked under his mask before pocketing the card.

"Great! I hope to see you there. I'm eager to see what Pokemon you're going to put on auction. We'll make them the last auctioned goods for our secret last auctioning items."

The cloaked youth couldn't hide his excitement. The tall man nodded in agreeance, he was naturally happy for the youth.

"Thank you, I'll be taking my leave. I can't wait to see you at the auction at that time." The cloaked youth bowed slightly. He spoke in whispers, but it was enough for Leon to hear it.

"Will do..." He needed money badly for some things he wanted to create in the future.

Afterward, both the youth and the tall man took their leave. The tall man couldn't help but look back, this merchant's physique was really small and seemed weak.

Even the thought of this individual being a child came over him, but he quickly removed the thought.

This was impossible!

Leon gazed around the Black market street where many people could be seen. They were going back and forth to different locations. Some were still present looking at the Pokemon in the fish tank covetishly.

Oh, how they wished. Unfortunately, none of them could afford those Pokemon.

'There were a few stalls selling some pretty decent things. I should check them quickly before thinking of leaving.'

Leon reared his head and looked down the street. There, Leon saw a stall that had a couple of interesting items he wanted.
