Genjutsu- Expertise in both mundane and Kekkei Genkai based Genjutsu. Able to utilize the Kekkei Genkai to trap targets in a potent Genjutsu. Highly proficient in Area of Effect Genjutsu. The potency of the illusions are high enough to affect the body of the targets.

Ichigo Haruno (Jonin): "Unparalleled in her field of expertise. In time, will be unstoppable. Puts on a tough demeanor and doesn't like to work with others. Will do her duty regardless of said personal issues. Suitable for mentorship roles, given that the students gain her respect. Highly efficient in large-scale combat scenarios, where she can single-handedly target and incapacitate platoons of enemy forces."

*: Genjutsu trait is the strongest ever seen in her clan.

A.N: This is the personnel file that Konoha has on Yakumo. I watered down a lot of stuff to ensure that we don't have a lot of jargon here. And before anyone jumps at me saying that Itachi is better than her, folks like Aoba don't know what exactly Itachi can do. Ichigo knows, but he believes that she can be better with his help. He did use her genjutsu as the base for making the anti-Shisui seal, after all.

Moreover, her genjutsu is strong enough to affect reality. To them, her abilities would seem very strong. We don't know how strong she could be, as she was crippled in the anime and didn't have the time and training to grow more.
