Chương 24: Upgrading The Divine Laptop For Combat Purposes
"And done!"
I muttered to myself after I had finished programming some upgrades on my divine laptop.
The upgrades I added to my laptop was for my laptop to be used for combat. After all, I knew how inconvenient it was to type on my laptop in the middle of the battle. It's not like my opponents would wait for me to finish typing my codes.
I have upgraded my laptop so that it can now be a holographic laptop. This means it can turn into a hologram that would be no different from a system since I had also programmed it that none could destroy it unless they can attack concepts.
Not only that, but the hologram mode could also become even more convenient if I switched to hologram mode- mind mode. When mind mode was used, I could type codes in my mind instead of typing on the keyboard so I could attack my enemy or defend myself while I am typing codes via my mind.
I dare say that my divine laptop almost has no other flaws. Even if there was, it would be negligible.
Regarding the use of my laptop, I have also made it so that only Miku and I could use it. Although Zenchi-san had already added that feature, I upgraded to the point that if anyone tried to open it and they failed to type in the correct password 3 times, the AI on my divine laptop would type in codes in the Z++ program that would immobilize those who had failed to type the password 3 times.
Of course, I made it so that Miku and I would be immune to it so even if we failed to type the password 3 times, the AI wouldn't use the Z++ program to immobilize me.
I had also made the AI to not be sentient unless I wanted it to be an evil one and take over the world and some shit like that. Not that I am incapable of programing a good AI but because I am not taking any chances.
Even if I reach level 10 of my Computers Job, I wouldn't even create a sentient AI on my laptop. That was just how cautious I am.
Although I was a cautious person in a previous life, I was never this cautious. It's all because of Miku that I'm overly cautious and protective of her, as I don't want any risks that could endanger her. I would never forgive myself if I inadvertently harmed her due to my carelessness.
So this is what they meant when they said having a wife can change a man. It's not like I'm complaining because if that wife was Miku, I'd suffer in hell for her sake.
Miku placed the chibi plushy on her side as she wrapped her hands around my body, embracing me as she pulled me down on the bed so the two of us could cuddle each other.
It seemed that she had read my mind but I am not complaining.
I was exhausted from all of the events that had occurred today because they had been so eventful. Note to self: having two protagonists in one world, especially when they are together, is a recipe for disaster.
I closed my eyes and sank into the soft sensation of Miku's body, wrapping my hands around her like a koala.
Miku had a pleasant odor. It's so relaxing to be with her and spend time with her.
I would never allow anyone to harm her even if I am dead. Not like anyone could kill me since I am getting stronger idly.
The only people who could kill me are the Supreme Beings, about whom Zenchi-san had told me that he had already taken care of. Aside from them, Zenchi-san could kill me, but it's not like he has any reason to.
It was already night time, so Miku and I slept together in our bed at the end of the day, sharing each other's warmth and scent.
