Chương 5: Chapter Four
Tyler was staring at the so called princess beth who was smiling at him during the royal banquet in Chaldeans
His cousin brother troy who was the prince of Chaldeans nudge him to go and approach her "she is beautiful" he said while smiling at me
"Am not interested" I said while looking around and then I realized almost all the princess were staring at me and troy because we were both handsome
I saw beth coming towards us; I couldn't stop staring at her she was full of confidence and pride which I found fascinating in her
"Prince tyler of airangon, it was indeed true'' she said sounding pleased as she stare at me
"Who are you?"
"Princess beth of lancelot" she said as she smile at me
We spend some time talking about things we had in common , I found her quite app
ealing and comely while she smile it remind me of how long I seize myself from smiling I still couldn't laugh or smile despite the fact that I found her much of a companion
I was taken aback when I felt her lips on my chin as she bid me goodbye she look at me with boldness in her grey colored eyes I was lost for words "I will visit you soon prince tyler" she said as she left
Ariana noticed eric gaze on her while she serve them breakfast, his elder brother has come to pay them a visit and have found her quite attractive
She was going towards the ranch when she bump into him for the second time she wanted to flee from him when he grab her hand "why are you running away from me anne" he demanded
"am not your highness, I forgot something I must do for the lady before her arrival" I said in a shaky tone
He let go of me as I ran towards the princess chamber despite knowing I have nothing to do there , I found matilda glaring at me I look away only to find eric staring at me "the prince wants to see you" she said through gritted teeth
I turn towards eric and went after him we stopped in the garden as he held my hands we stare at each other for a moment ,I was lost in his gaze at that moment
He lean close to me as if he was going to kiss me but he ended up untying my scarf letting my hair flow freely around my waist, he caressed my hair I was looking away when I felt his hand on my chin ; I was shocked as I stare into his eyes before I knew what was happening I felt his lips on mine
It was a quick peck on the lips as he jerk away I was a bit disappointed " am sorry, I didn't mean to do that" he said guiltily while looking away
I didn't say a word which brought his attention on me , I know I love him and am scared he wouldn't love me but his action now made it clear that he was in love with me , I no longer care about my pride and I don't think I have one anymore after all am anne not ariana , a servant and not a princess I took a step towards him and rise on my toe as I kissed him he was shocked as I felt his arms on my waist as he pull me close before kissing me back, he deepen the kiss I held him around his neck as we kiss am glad I learned from tyler he was the first man I have ever kiss but he was my brother and now here I am in prince eric arms feeling safe and loved
He was the only one who cared for me for the past two years I was in lancelot and I love him more than anything ; for a moment I was happy being in lancelot as a servant
I pull away to catch my breath as I blushed when I notice he was smiling down at me with his eyes filled with love I felt my heart beating too fast "stop staring" I said
"I cant help it anne, I love you''
I was shocked by the confession my eyes widen in shock as I stare at him, he held my face as he stare deeply into my eyes
"I love you anne right from the first time I saw you, I couldn't stop my feelings towards you and I cant afford to lose you, I love you so much anne"
"I love you too eric and I don't want to lose you , I wish am the other woman and not this woman" she said bitterly
"what woman?"
I only smiled as I pull him next to me as we lay down next to each other on the grass, he held me in his arms as I fell asleep
I was bought to the castle to help in preparing for the feast all the maid and the head maid kept glaring at me and I know the reason , the same reason that got me here into slavery I clung to the heart shape pendant on my neck strangely I always have hope and confidence each time I hold on to it , I bought my scarf close to my face so I wont be noticed but then I felt someone grab my necklace and I tried to fight back when I saw her, the beautiful girl who owns the necklace I gently let go of her hand she kept staring at me with a shock expression ; I pull the necklace and place it on her hand , she seem to be speechless that she didn't flinch when I touch her as she kept staring at me "I think this belong to you'' I said as I turn away and left I could still feel her gaze on me as I left the castle
Ariana kept staring at the figure until she was out of sight she couldn't believe there is someone this beautiful, she was nothing compared to the lady who has a perfect curves than her ,fairer skin and her rosy red lips was something else she felt jealous at her perfect features her hazel green eyes could make any man fall at her feet
The king was furious with eric when he heard his negligence towards his duty as a prince "don't you dare move out of the training"
"dad!"
I could see the anger burning in his eyes I couldn't utter a wound word as I watch him leave, I trained with the knight but my thought was on ariana I was wondering if she is alright
