Hi there, I hope you enjoy this new chapter.
I'm trying out this new format, it's not much different from what I normally wrote before.

I inhale and exhale.
I inhale and exhale.
So, this is the fresh air of the new world.
I look up at the sky and I can see some kind of dust cloud above us.
Hmm, makes it hard to see things clearly.
Still, it's great to see the cleaner, more impressive colors.
I turn my gaze to Shiro-chan who is looking around in awe.
This is an amazing place, no doubt.
"Finally, we made it out of Great labyrinth of Elroe!" said Shiro-chan happily.
I smiled, yes, it took who knows how long, as it was hard to tell when it was day and when it was night in that place, but it did take a long time.
I will not miss this place.
Too many near-death experiences for my liking.
Seriously, who thought it was fair to throw two cute spiders into the world's largest and most dangerous labyrinth?
With a family that would kill you on the spot without hesitation, to top things off.
Oka-sama, Nii-sans, fuck you, the only good thing about it all is that Shiro-chan was reborn with me.
On top of that, countless monsters of all kinds chased me, lost my house and my egg, to finally fight a very powerful earth dragon, which you'd think would be the secret boss you suddenly find out there.
Although I guess I also have this place to thank, if it wasn't for this place, I wouldn't be as strong as I am now.
I shudder to think that my human life together with the human Shonen protagonist.
I think his name was Shin, wasn't it?
Stupid boy hero.
Anyway, that hellish experience was what made me stronger, made us stronger.
Yup, a little too strong than I imagined.
Hmm, wonder why?
Well, right now, right in front of us are the remains of a dusty, crumbling fortress that was mysteriously destroyed.
Yep, I have no idea who destroyed it.
Anyway, this fortress was big enough to get in the way of the monsters.
Hmm, I guess it makes sense that people would want to take action to prevent monsters from going out and rampaging through the world.
This isn't a game, after all, so there's no guarantee that monsters can't get out of the dungeons.
Anyway, as soon as we came out, the first thing we saw was a wall blocking our way.
If the monsters came out of the labyrinth, they would be trapped with this wall, and the soldiers staying there would take care of them.
That sounds like a good plan, if you ask me.
Or I imagine that was the plan, since while I was staring at the wall like an idiot, contemplating what my life's purpose was, some soldiers attacked us.
Then, the next moment, some mysterious being launched some magical attacks and destroyed the fortress.
A being who, seeing the arrows flying at us, unloaded the black hell on them, with black bullets pointing in the direction from where the arrows came.
With that alone, the fortress was shattered.
Umu.
No doubt that mysterious being was to blame.
Not a cute little black spider that was just contemplating its existence.
Nope, not at all.
Anyway, since the fortress has been found to have been destroyed and there are no witnesses, I guess it's time for us to go.
See you later, losers!
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
After fleeing the-I mean, leaving behind the mysteriously shattered fortress, trying to stay out of sight.
We are spider monsters, after all.
If any human ever laid eyes on me, they might think I was the culprit.
Which It would be right- ahem, I mean, since I was in the crime scene, I can understand the reason for their thinking.
Uff, how could anyone do such a horrible thing!
The two poor little spiders could be framed for this act!
I'm innocent, dammit!
Uwah, I've calmed down.
Hmm, hmmm, I'm off the hook now.
Seriously though, I'm a spider monster, I can't let any human see me because they might attack me right away.
I doubt any human would see a spider about the same height as an average human and say, "hey, that spider is my friend."
Sure, there might be one or two people like that around the world, but most people upon seeing a spider monster like me would only respond in 3 ways: run away, fight, or faint with fear.
Worse if you have arachnophobia.
And even worse is our case, as we have the Skill Tyrant, the evolved form of intimidation, and the Fear Bringer title that together do a good job of inducing pure fear in anyone who looks at us, so even the most innocent and pure child in the world would probably panic at the sight of us.
A small child who loves giant insects at heart would surely run away, screaming and crying.
Why do so many kids like beetles and stuff anyway? I don't get it.
If a bug-loving guy ended up in the same situation as me, would he cry for joy?
...yeah, I highly doubt it.
Just imagining that gives me a little shudder.
Actually, it's more than that, it's disgusting.
If someone like that existed, I'd happily let him take my place.
I'd probably die within a few days.
No, scratch that, within seconds of being born.
Because Oka-sama or some of my dear brothers could have finished him off.
Of all the dangerous creatures I have seen in my life as a spider, the most dangerous of them is undoubtedly Oka-sama, Arashi-kun comes close but doesn't give the same feeling as Oka-sama did, who was the first one I encountered just after birth.
This is life in hell mode, plain and simple.
And I keep documenting it in the present tense.
That's pretty amazing if I do say so myself.
Anyway, speaking of Oka-sama, I'm currently locked in a mental battle against her.
While Shiro-chan ended up sending all her alternate personalities, I only sent 2, which were just two new ones that were taking up space in my mind.
Sacrifice 1 and Sacrifice 2, I expect great things from you.
You know it's funny, while Shiro-chan only got 3 alternate personalities, I got 8.
Funny.
Anyway, now that Shiro-chan has defeated Araba-chan and I have defeated Arashi-kun, the only challenge left for me in the Great labyrinth of Elroe is Oka-sama.
If I can defeat Oka-sama, who as far as I know is the strongest monster in the labyrinth, then I will be the coolest boss, both in words and deeds.
While my ultimate goal is to become an administrator and kick D's ass, it's probably inevitable that I'll end up facing Oka-sama.
Plus, I bet she'll give a juicy amount of EXP if I beat her, for one thing.
Although if I face her in a one-on-one duel I don't know if I can defeat her.
Chastity is a Skill OP but she doesn't made miracles, there are things that even she can't block, and I bet Oka-sama will have some crazy skills with her.
But that's only if I face her alone and fairly.
Which I don't.
If I face her, it will be together with Shiro-chan and I won't fight fairly.
This time, I'm confident that I can defeat even the Arch Taratect, who have stats comparable to Araba's, in a fair fight, thanks to the Rot element I've mastered.
And along with other broken Skills I have obtained.
Besides, should it become the case, I have Skills Points that I can use to get some other broken Skill if it becomes too difficult.
Anyway
If you ask me about the current situation, our mental fight, it would be like a gunman versus a swordsman.
Normal humans of course.
The gunslinger wins if he keeps his distance.
The swordsman wins if he manages to close the distance.
I have no idea what Oka-sama's stats are, but they are definitely higher than Arashi-kun.
So, if she were to land a single hit on me, I would most likely die, Perseverance or not.
So, I would need to keep my distance, in order to secure my victory.
And at this point, I would say my victory is assured, our victory, whatever.
Because I find myself outside the Great labyrinth of Elroe.
A huge creature like Oka-sama couldn't get out of the labyrinth.
I mean, the exit I just passed through isn't big enough for her to get through.
In fact, with her size, her movements are quite limited inside the labyrinth.
She can move well enough probably in the more spacious parts of the Lower Layer or the middle and probably in the deeper part as well, but the Upper Layer has too many narrow corridors for her to move freely.
That's the main reason why we made our base in the Upper Layer.
So that Oka-sama couldn't reach us.
The fact that she sent that army of spiders with the arch and stuff after us only proves my point, that she herself can't reach us.
Our victory is assured as soon as all her children are dead.
Now that I am free of Great labyrinth of Elroe, Oka-sama has no way to pursue me.
At most he'll send another army of spiders after me.
But I can defend myself against that.
Now I just have to wait until the point where she can no longer withstand my attacks.
Of course, until then, I'll be doing some sightseeing in the meantime.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
'Chu,chu, chu, say, Shiro-chan, now that we've completed one of our life goals, escaping from the Great Labyrinth of Elroe... What should we do next?'
"Hmm, now that you mention it Kuro-chan, I really have no idea."
'Yeah, me neither.'
At first, the idea of escaping the labyrinth was mainly to get away from having to be on constant guard for the dangerous monsters living there.
But if you really think about it, we have a new threat looming over us and that's humans, although I don't know if they are more or less dangerous.
I can't compare them to the humans who visited our nest and burned it down, those might have been just an average bunch out here.
Also, at some point, my goal shifted from "get out of the labyrinth" to "get rich food."
I mean, the monsters that were in the labyrinth tasted good, but that's not all this world has to offer.
I want to taste the riches of this world, all the rare and juicy food this cursed world has to offer me!
This is a fantasy world destined to destroy itself.
I have to see all the gourmet foods this world has to offer before it is destroyed.
Oh, and become an admin too to free myself from dying along with this world.
But before that, the gourmet food.
But in order to taste it, I have to be mindful of my monstrous (literal) appearance.
I would be exterminated as soon as I set foot in a human settlement.
Come to think of it, considering how easily that fortress was taken down back there, I don't know if they could really defeat me that easily.
Although the guards and the structure in general might have been prepared just for the Upper Layer monsters? Who knows.
I could probably try to sneak into town thief-style, eat a bunch of tasty food and run away, but I'm not too keen on trying something so risky.
I'd better stick to my original first plan of becoming an Arachne, until then I'll stay away from humans.
You see, an Arachne is a monster with the lower part being spidery but the upper part being humanoid.
It will still be a monster, but with my upper part being human, which would undoubtedly make me look more human than I am now.
Nodding to myself, I tell that to Shiro-chan and she seemed to think the same.
However, the road to becoming Arachne is long and far away. Besides, I don't even know the language of this world, so I wouldn't be able to communicate my intentions.
Anyway, I can't contact humans yet.
For the time being, I'll have to get some tasty food on my own somehow.
Well, with Shiro-chan more exactly.
I use my skill Flight to fly through the air to take a look around.
Not far from me is a human village.
The buildings have that slight European medieval feel often seen in fantasy worlds.
At a glance, I don't see any advanced machinery or anything of that sort.
As I remembered, this world is a medieval fantasy world that doesn't have any advanced technology.
The anime didn't lie to me.
Anyway, I'm going to ignore that town.
I'm sure no good would come of trying to enter it.
To the left are some plains.
To the right is Shiro-chan and more plains.
Since the Great labyrinth of Elroe connects two continents, I thought it might come out near an ocean for some reason, but the exit I used seems to be pretty far inland.
Hmm.
Forests and mountains, eh?
I bet there are all kinds of nature's riches there. I guess I'll have to check it out.
Maybe there's fruit and mushrooms and stuff.
Most of the monsters in the labyrinth tasted good, so I imagine the wild animals in the mountains would taste even better.
Also, I'm curious what's beyond the mountains.
If there's an ocean there, I could get some seafood.
Considering how delicious the Middle Layer eels and catfish were, I bet real sea creatures would taste even better.
Well, no use wasting time.
Let's get going!
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hi there.
I'm the nameless personality, also known as Sacrifice number 1.
Well, as soon as I finish this task, who knows if I'll be given a name.
But before that, I have to defeat Oka-sama.
(Number one! Sacrifice 1! Stop slacking off – work! Gyaaah?!) said the one in charge of Shiro-chan's body, before she was taken out by one of Oka-sama's attacks.
You know, I've always wondered why they don't have names.
I mean, besides being able to identify themselves by their role, Shiro-chan never gave them names.
Meanwhile, Kuro-sama named most of us except for the two of us due to lack of time.
Curious.
Duuuu-pi-duu.
Oops, that had to hurt.
Don't worry, she's not going to die.
The worst Oka-sama can do to us right now is to beat us up a little.
For one thing, we're not really having physical combat in the real world.
It's more like we're fighting Oka-sama's soul or spirit, or something like that. It's like fighting a spirit, only we're the spirit and Oka-sama is the poor flesh and blood person.
You see, Oka-sama has the Skill Kin Control, which generally allows him to control any of his children.
And this was starting to affect our body, too.
I felt it the first time when I was fighting the fire dragon.
For some reason, I felt that my own emotions were out of whack somehow.
Investigating the cause, I discovered that I was receiving something like a radio signal from Oka-sama.
So, we decided to counterattack, after all she can't just mess with us like that.
That's why we traced the signal that should control me back to her, and now I'm making such a counterattack against Oka-sama.
All of that made me and Sacrifice 2 the scorned personalities for the fight like ghosts of the opera.
Parallel Minds is a Skill that creates copies according to my will.
That's why Shiro-chan only generated about 3 alternate personalities while with us I create 5, I don't know if there are more in the main body.
Just think of it as a mental ninja cloning technique.
I guess since there is only one body, theoretically we could call this multiple personality syndrome.
However, since each alternate personality has its own role, we have been able to perform the work of several people with one body.
Specifically, Kuroko-sama is the original and the mind in charge, Akira is the Appraisal in charge, Karada is the body in charge, Miho and Miko are the magic in charge respectively, and the two of us were the sacrifices.
I don't know if another alternate personality was created in my time away but I don't really care.
Anyway, we're all basically a soccer team, each fulfilling their role.
Most stayed in the corps while the two of us came to this (possible) suicide attack against Oka-sama, together with Shiro-chan's personalities.
The giant figure of Oka-sama is right in front of us.
Although in reality, this is only her spiritual form, not her real body.
Oka-sama's spirit body has already lost some of its legs and other parts of its body.
Well, that's because we ate them.
Even now, sacrifice 2 and some of Shiro-chan's parallel minds are clinging to Oka-sama's body, nibbling at it.
Oka-sama is tearing everything apart, shaking them or throwing them up in the air.
But, as I keep saying, these are spirit bodies, we are ghosts, we have no real physical body.
We're like soul fragments, if anything.
Also, Kuro-sama and Shiro-chan have Heresy Nullification, a Skill that nullifies any soul-damaging attack.
With the exception of Abyss Magic, but Oka-sama doesn't have it.
In other words, no matter how many attacks Oka-sama's spirit body hits us, it can't harm us because we are souls!
Ultimately, this means that we can attack her without fear of death.
What's wrong Oka-sama, do you feel bad? Well, that's too bad because we won't let you go.
We are invincible, I tell you!
I feel nothing but an itch, even if it steps on me, bites me or shoots me with magic.
Even attacks that would probably kill me instantly don't really mean anything here.
Although, because of how much stronger she is, it's taking us a long time to wear her down.
Still, little by little we are cornering her.
If we, the parallel minds, manage to defeat Oka-sama's spiritual body, she will die in real life, too.
It's still souls we're talking about, after all.
Can you really say that a living being can go on living without its soul?
I bet that the life-preserving functions of her physical body will disappear when your soul is gone.
In other words, we will have won.
If we can't win by fighting it in the flesh, why not take the fight to the spiritual plane?
It is not psychological warfare-it is psychic warfare.
This is a key point.
Our attacks are weak and don't do much, but hers don't do anything at all.
As long as we keep doing damage bit by bit, and as long as she can't harm me at all, my victory is assured.
On top of that, I can sense that Kuroko-sama and Shiro-chan has left the Great labyrinth of Elroe, to embark on a journey to the outside world.
Which is great, because now it's impossible for Oka-sama's giant body to reach her.
The moment we left the labyrinth, which was the moment I won.
Masterful victory.
GG.
Now I just have to take my sweet time skewering Oka-sama's soul.
I never thought I could defeat someone as powerful as this so easily.
Sometimes I feel like this is a dream.
(Number One! Sacrifice One! Are you still slacking off?!)
Oh my, the nameless body in charge is back, complaining all the time.
As violent as Oka-sama's attack was, she remains completely unharmed.
Thank you, oh great Heresy Nullification.
Without that Skill, I wouldn't have been able to perform an attack of this magnitude.
Oka-sama's spiritual strength is basically on par with his actual strength.
Which makes a lot of sense.
The strength of his actual stats is based on the strength of his soul, after all.
Sure, physical strength comes into play as well, but the soul is the main source of power. Not surprisingly, the spiritual body-in essence, your very soul-is just as strong.
In other words, our spiritual bodies are also comparable in capacity to our real bodies.
But in our case, we have been split into fragments by Parallel Minds, which means that each only has a certain percentage of that strength.
The fact that this battle is still exhausting despite the fact that Heresy Nullification denies any attacks against us only shows how great the difference in strength is between Oka-sama and our real bodies.
We keep getting fired, attacked and hooked again.
Only after repeating this cycle for days, we have finally reached the point where we have caused visible damage.
(Hey, don't ignore me!)
Phew, what a pain in the ass is the nameless body in charge.
Let me rest in peace for a little while, will you?
(Hey, ex-body mind) said magic in charge 1, who was lounging around like me.
(What?) replied the one in charge of the body as she started biting Oka-sama's body.
(Don't you think it's strange?) asked MIC 1 (Magic in charge 1) asked.
I didn't need to ask, as I knew what she was referring to.
There is something strange about Oka-sama's actions.
In this spiritual battle, as long as we have Heresy Nullification, we don't have to worry about getting hurt.
We know that we will defeat Oka-sama in the end, even if it takes a long time.
It is obvious how this will end.
That being the case, of course Oka-sama is going to try to thwart our plans.
The first counter came in the form of an army of spiders led by an Arch Taratect that she sent after Kuroko-sama and Shiro-chan.
Arch Taratect are particularly strong subordinates of hers, capable of withstanding a confrontation even against a dragon.
She probably thought that would be enough to kill Kuroko-sama and Shiro-chan.
But instead, Kuroko-sama and Shiro-chan turned the tables by using some pretty dirty tactics, beating them at their own game.
That was the best of the best.
But it's what happened from that that's strange.
Since the Arch Taratect lost, Oka-sama obviously had to make another move.
Otherwise at this rate, she's going to die.
However, Oka-sama hasn't shown any sign of doing anything else.
And this despite the fact that she still has a lot of subordinates to command.
Since I ate part of Oka-sama's spirit body, I've been able to see through her eyes.
I'm not sure where in the labyrinth she is, but somewhere in there is a huge army of spiders, including Arch Taratects.
Oka-sama is in the center of it all, motionless.
Seeing this, I can tell that the forces she sent after Kuroko-sama and Shiro-chan earlier were only a small portion of her army of followers.
Why doesn't he send the others after our body?
I just don't understand.
I mean, I know that Kuroko-sama is very strong currently, modesty aside.
Sure, we were able to defeat the Arch Taratect only by using clandestine tactics, but we also fought an opponent just as strong - no, much stronger - the earth dragon Arashi, and won thanks to a half-fair battle.
And if is Kuroko-sama together with Shiro-sama, they have a better chance of victory.
But yes, if several Arch Taratects attack both of them at the same time, they certainly have a good chance to overwhelm them.
And yet, Oka-sama is not doing that.
Even though she has many Arch Taratects in her army.
She's just standing there idly as she fights against our spiritual projections, as if she's waiting for something.
Well, I'm sure if she sent such an incredibly large army of spiders after Kuroko-sama and Shiro-chan, they would just have to use teleportation to flee without hesitation.
...wait a second.
Could it be that Oka-sama understands that, too?
Does she know that we have no problem escaping from a fight I know I can't win? That's quite possible.
Oka-sama and I have been connected by her Skill Kin Control since I was born.
I doubt she pays much attention to each of her countless children, but considering how singularly I've been doing things, I might have caught her attention at some point.
If Oka-sama has been using that Skill to monitor my actions, I wouldn't be surprised if she was already familiar with my behavior patterns.
In fact, maybe she used that knowledge to carefully arrange that first army in a way that made me think I might have a chance of winning if I fought hard.
Actually, even if the two of them were together, if I had fought that army fairly instead of using dirty tricks, I have a feeling that my chances of losing were a little higher than my chances of winning.
If it had been just the Arch Taratect, I think I would have won with some difficulty.
After factoring in that crowd of followers, my chances were not very good, even if I included Shiro-chan in the mix.
But that small chance is the key.
It would have been heavy, but not so terrible that I wouldn't definitely win.
If I think I have a chance, I can't afford to run away, even if my odds of losing are much higher.
In the end, of course, our team won hands down.
Still, if Oka-sama thought things out that far ahead, then she must be more astute than I gave her credit for.
I would say that made her as intelligent as a human being, or perhaps even more intelligent.
In any case, her lack of action is downright suspicious.
If she doesn't do something, the spirit bodies are going to beat her.
Why is she just waiting like this?
Just biding her time, almost as if she's waiting for something?
No, not "almost." It has to be that.
But then, what is she waiting for?
As if to confirm my sneaking suspicions, Oka-sama's until now motionless body suddenly springs into action, as does the huge spider army surrounding her.
They all move at once.
The spider army splits into several squads, each led by an Arch Taratect, before dispersing. At the same time, Oka-sama begins to move at a much higher speed than seems possible with his huge.
Oh no.
She caught us.
Oka-sama was waiting for this moment.
(Sacrifice 2, quickly go back to Kuroko-sama to warn her about this!) I yell at Sacrifice 2.
(Madam, I can't! Oka-sama is interfering with our connection somehow!) replied sacrifice 2.
(Contact the main body quickly!) said MIC 1 hurriedly.
(I can't! It's like sacrifice 2 said, Mother is interfering with the connection somehow) said BIC (Body in Charge) after bumping into something.
Really?
This is not good.
I don't know what Skill she's using, but it looks like she's temporarily isolated us, the projections, to prevent us from going to Kuroko-sama and Shiro-chan.
Now we can't tell them they're in danger!
Now it's very clear what she was waiting for.
The moment Kuroko-sama and Shiro-chan went outside.
Now she's redistributing her troops all over the labyrinth, where Kuro-sama and Shiro-chan will teleport at the slightest sign of not being able to defeat – cutting off our escape routes beforehand.
Then, when Kuro-sama and Shiro-chan have nowhere to go, the queen herself will lead the rest of the troops to hunt us down.
From the bottom of a deep, dark pit, Oka-sama starts running upwards at a horrible speed.
And as soon as she approaches the ceiling, she opens his terrible mouth.
It lets out the attack that destroys everything: Breath.
A pseudo-breath attack using the Skill Dragon Power, possibly inspired by the type that is used by real dragons.
However, the fact that it is not the real thing does not mean it is weaker.
In fact, it explodes with more force than the real dragon breath, tearing through the thick ceiling of the labyrinth.
The earth shudders as if the world has been turned upside down.
Huge meteorite-sized boulders plummet to the bottom of the pit like rain.
After the debris stops falling, it gives way to a clear blue sky.
If I could, I'd scream and curse to the 7 winds, you've got to be kidding me, right?!
Really, Oka-sama? You broke through the walls of the labyrinth itself just to get out?
My sense of security, the assurance that clearly Oka-sama was too big to get out of the labyrinth, disappeared in an instant.
Oka-sama has escaped the tight confines of the cage known as the Great Labyrinth of Elroe.
And now, of course, she's headed straight for Kuroko-sama and Shiro-chan.
Both of whom have no idea that any of this is happening.

'arattsa ttsa yari bidabirin ra bari
ddan rin ran ren ran doo'
Having randomly decided to head for the mountains, we enjoy our first walk since I was reincarnated with this beautiful tune.
In my two lives, I was an honorary recluse who left home only to go to school and shop for the necessities to survive. But this time, I'm a healthy young spider who enjoys the outdoors!
Since I never left the Great Elroe Labyrinth until now, I guess technically I've been a recluse in this life too, but not anymore!
Walking is super fun!
And that's something I never thought I'd say!
I guess we humans really do need sunlight to live.
You can't make vitamin D without getting a little bit of sunshine!
Not that I care, since I'm a spider now!
Still, just enjoying a little bit of sunshine boosts my energy levels.
It really makes you realize how great the sun is.
Although I guess I don't really know if this planet calls its star the sun or whatever.
As a side note, there's only one sun here, too.
I still don't know if there's a moon.
I'll probably find out when night falls, but I can't help but wonder if there will be two moons or a split moon, like a genuine sci-fi/fantasy world.
Now, that I'd like to see.
The stars will probably be different from my home world, so I'm a little curious about that too.
I don't know anything about astronomy, though.
Even so, I can't wait until it's nighttime.
In my previous life, when all I did was play games, I could never have imagined being this interested in nature.
Speaking of nature, Appraisal has a very nice feature on the surrounding flowers.
I was quite surprised that it showed the names of each of the plants.
If my Appraisal level was still low, I would probably just label this whole mess as "weeds".
Anyway, since I spent a lot of time using Appraisal with everything with curiosity, I haven't gotten as far as I expected.
But I guess I'm not in a hurry either.
The same can be said for Shiro-chan.
We are simply here enjoying this lovely walk, finally passing through the plains and arriving at the forest.
The second we get close; I notice that all the living creatures in the forest begin to flee in terror.
Yeah, yeah.
It almost slipped my mind that we're a couple of dangerous monsters that just came out of the labyrinth and all.
I guess it makes sense that normal animals would want to run away from us.
And even if I turn off the effects of the Fear Bringer title, we'd still have to take Shiro-chan's into account and she can't turn it off.
Okay, that takes me down a peg or two.
Oh well, I put it out of my mind and start exploring.
The animals may have escaped, but the plants are obviously still here.
Discovering some kind of fruit growing in the forest, I use Appraisal, and then test it.
Mm!
I immediately pass the fruit to Shiro-chan, who has the same reaction as me.
How sweet, how tasty!
Oh, thank you so much, mother nature!
Oh my god, I'm soooooo happy.
Maybe I can live in the forest, eating fruit, until I evolve into Arachne.
Hmm?
Ara?
What's that mysterious rumbling I just heard?
And wasn't the ground shaking recently?
Like a magnitude 3 earthquake?
It seems there are earthquakes in this world too.
I never felt any tremors while I was in the Great Labyrinth of Elroe, so I had no idea.
Maybe it doesn't happen as often here as in Japan?
My thoughts are interrupted by Danger Perception that shoots up alarmingly.
My whole body stiffens and warns me that I am in danger.
I haven't felt this sense of fear and unease in a long time.
This particular feeling feels familiar.
It is the same feeling I felt when I was born.
Huh? You're kidding me, right?
I mean, there's no way Oka-sama can get out of the labyrinth.
She's too big to fit through the door!
But the alarms in my head are getting louder and louder.
My senses are screaming that I can't stay here.
I have to run!
Without even signaling Shiro-chan, the two of us run away at full speed, trying to put as much distance between me and the source of danger as I can.
Immediately, I feel a great amount of power radiating down on me from far behind.
This does not look good.
I change course, veering to the side.
I use my Skill Skanda, which has been with me since I was born, at full power, to keep gaining speed and get as far away from this thing as I can.
Seconds later, the forest I was in... just was gone.
At the edge of my vision, I see a torrent of black energy.
It looks like the breath attack that Araba-chan and Arashi-kun but with a different and much more powerful attribute.
I guess that was the darkness attribute.
And it was even stronger than Araba and Arashi's fully charged breath together.
Not to mention, this was launched from miles away. However, it managed to destroy a section of the forest, then I still had energy to spare to shave off a fragment of the distant mountain I was heading for.
Araba's breath was powerful enough to blow up my home and Arashi's to destroy part of the labyrinth, but this is different.
This is on another level.
I've only seen this incredible amount of power once before.
In the Middle Layer, when I saw a pack of wyrms led by the Fire Dragon Rend they were all wiped out by a single attack.
I look back to see what created this attack.
It is the same giant beast I expected to see.
This is the third time I've seen her.
Hello Oka-sama.
Please stop pointing your terrifying power at us.
"Run! Run! Don't look back!"
That's what I'm doing, Shiro-chan!
I have absolutely no idea how she got out of the labyrinth or how she knew where we were, but there's no time to worry about petty things now! It's time to run!
The instant I saw Oka-sama in the flesh, I knew I had to do everything I could so that we could both get out alive.
Quick, Akira-chan, use Appraisal on her!
(On your order!)

Huh?
What kind of monster is this?!
All of her stats are higher than 20,000!
Mathematically, that means she's roughly five times stronger than Araba-chan.
And considering the maximum stats, she's twice as strong as Arashi-kun!
How am I supposed to beat her?
Sure, she's not completely immune to fire or ice or the Rot element.
But her stats are too big.
They're worse than I imagined.
I knew they were higher than 10,000, it was logical, but twice as high?
I guess on the plus side her stats have been reduced.
She has lost about 6,000 each.
Good job Sacrifice 1 and 2!
Thanks to that, and with my current stats, I'm actually... hmmm, slower than her but not by that much.
I'm about 3,800 away in speed.
But I still have a way to weaken Oka-sama even more, enough to make me even faster than her.
But...
I look at Shiro-chan, who's struggling to keep up with me as we run.
Shiro-chan is still too slow.
Luckily, we still have a lot of distance between us and Oka-sama.
But, at her current speed, she'll end up catching Shiro-chan first, but it'll still take her a while to close the gap.
Also, that powerful breath managed to reach our position despite the huge distance between us, but I'm sure we'll be able to dodge it if he throws it again.
But even so, in order for us to escape, we will need the Long-Distance Teleport spell in a hurry.
Unlike its short-range counterpart, long-range requires some preparation time.
And even with our Skill Height Of Occultism, we still need a few minutes.
In general, it's not something you can use during battle.
Unless you have parallel minds, like me.
But what it is, is that this spell is perfect for escape.
So, for that to happen, I have to buy Shiro-chan time.
I look at Shiro-chan, who has her paws up as she concentrates on preparing the spell, but it looks like she knows I'm going to do something crazy, because she turns her head in panic to see me.
I look at her.
She looks at me while shaking her head.
I smile.
She shakes her head in more haste.
I nod and quickly launch myself into the air with High-Speed Flight.
Fun fact, High-Speed Flight actually uses my Speed Stats to know how fast I will be going.
As I fly and turn around, I finally take a good look directly at Oka-sama.
Wow. She's basically causing natural disasters just by moving.
Wherever her feet land, huge chunks of earth fly out. The areas she's passed through are completely shattered, like a large tornado just swept through.
The wind generated by its speed alone is enough to mow down everything in its path.
Do you know those monster movies where the monster stomps around, tearing up streets and buildings? Yeah, this is worse.
Oka-sama is basically the embodiment of destruction right now.
Do I care about that?
Nope!
The proficiency has reached the required level. Skill [Fear Super-Resistance Lv 4] has become [Fear Super-Resistance Lv 5].
I'm just a little scared but fear also gives me great courage.
Anyway, girls, get ready! Miho-chan, concentrate on performing the Long-Distance Teleport spell, Miko, Akira, Karada, to the max! Urya, I'm assigning you the position of the magic in charge 2 until we finish this match!
(Understood!) they all replied and I can feel Miho-chan preparing the spell.
Quickly activated Chastity, in an area covering Oka-sama
Hmm, Oka-sama is watching me, but she seems to be concentrating on catching up to Shiro-chan.
The good thing is that her stats are already down and now I'm definitely faster than Oka-sama.
But Shiro-chan no.
So, we can't let Oka-sama catch up with Shiro-chan, can we?
Flame Magic, Level 8 Spell: Ravenous Inferno.
It's a spell that summons a vortex of ravenous flames that consumes everything in its path.
Oka-sama, you're still weak to fire, aren't you?
The spell connects.
Oka-sama roars in fury.
Now all her attention is on me.
Hey Oka-sama, this is between you and me now.
Just the two of us.
Oh, I can see it thanks to Future Sight, Oka-sama is going to throw his breath at me but at the same time he's going to throw threads at me.
Without a doubt, she wants to kill me.
Oh well, that makes it fun.
Infernal Magic: Level 3 Spell: Phoenix Invocation.
This spell allows me to summon a phoenix made of pure magic for 3 minutes, the downside is that I have to concentrate on manipulating it in order to use it effectively.
But that's not a problem for me since I have parallel minds!
I quickly summon the phoenix and I order him to head toward the thread as I move at top speed to dodge her breath.
Oh, now Oka-sama prepares the Black Bullets spell, or the inferior version of it, Shadow Arrows.
I do the same.
Yes, the same attack.
Our attacks clash but mine wins.
You see, for a magic clash like this, it's important to consider 2 things, the level of that magic and the magic Stats.
We both have Black Magic at level 10, or in this case Shadow Magic, so this little match was decided by our magic level.
But my magic power is currently higher than her weakened magic power.
Which made that little Black Bullets duel I came out as the victor.
Hmm, what did you think of that, Oka-sama?
I dodged her breath.
Thought so.
Hmm, my Spatial Perception just noticed that someone just used teleportation, and according to Detection, Shiro-chan is no longer nearby.
Perfect, Miho-chan almost has the spell ready, so it's time to retreat.
I quickly command the phoenix to head towards Oka-sama.
Meanwhile, I zigzag through her breath attack to reach her.
The phoenix impacts against her body and Oka-sama stops her breath attack.
That must have hurt, right Oka-sama?
I know you have Suffering Nullification but the damage is still there.
Oka-sama lost ¼ of her Hp with that attack.
It really shows our weakness to fire if someone like Oka-sama loses that much life with a simple infernal attack.
And add to that, her weakened state and that she doesn't have Dragon Scales or any of his evolved forms.
Anyway, Infernal Magic for the win.
Oka-sama quickly notices me going toward her and jump and tries to eat me.
I saw it coming.
I quickly use Rot Attack on her jaw, which quickly disintegrates.
She tries to hit me with its front paws but I dodge them and travel downwards, I am now underneath Oka-sama.
I head towards one of its legs and connect a Rot Attack, while directing my gaze towards the leg on the other side and with Annihilating Evil Eye x 8, I blow off two of her legs while hitting another one with a Rot Attack.
I quickly get out from under Oka-sama, as she fell to the ground with a bang sound.
The proficiency has reached the required level. Skill [Annihilating Evil Eye Lv 1] has become [Annihilating Evil Eye Lv 2].
Oh sweet.
Now, I'm out of here, sayonara Oka-sama.
I quickly teleport before Oka-sama's breath attack could hit me.
Phew.
I could only escape as I did thanks to Chastity's barrier and the fact that Oka-sama is weakened.
Once again, good job sacrifice 1 and 2.
Anyway, I am at our base and...
Experience has reached the required level. The individual Kuroko has risen from Lv 34 to Lv 35
All basic attributes have increased
Wait, what?
I quickly use Detection and notice that Shiro-chan is facing 4 Arch Taratect and some kind of spider puppet.
Oh, for crying out loud.
Can't we have a break?
I run straight to their location, right now, it's faster for me to run there than to use teleportation.
I quickly check with Appraisal on Shiro-chan and she seems to have lost some Hp, which only tells me one thing.
We just leveled up, that usually heals us completely, but there seems to be a limit, since Shiro-chan Hp isn't complete healed.
That means they damaged Shiro-chan enough that she hasn't regained all her life even with the level up.
That means... Shiro-chan is currently only alive thanks to Perseverance.
I quickly arrived at the battlefield.
At this moment, Shiro-chan is on top of an Arch's torso while biting her while the arch is trying to shake it off.
I quickly activate Charity.
Before you ask, no, Charity is not doing the same thing as Chastity.
Charity is a Skill that gives the allies around the user the effect of the Skill Hp Ultra-Fast Recovery, if the user has it, it will give the effect of the user's Skill power, if he/she doesn't have it, it will use it at level 1.
I currently have it in level 3, currently Shiro-chan has her Hp Rapid Recovery at level 9, so I'm not going to risk losing her.
I quickly hit one Arch with Rot Attack, disintegrating her.
The other Arch, who were doing nothing, turn to look at me.
But I don't have time for you, I can see the puppet moving towards us.
Miho, Miko and Urya team up to prepare the Long-Range Teleport spell, I attach Shiro-chan and teleport us, along with the unfortunate Arch, straight to the Middle Layer.
Shiro-chan soles the Arch and it falls defeated into the sea of flames.
We have survived.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The queen frowned.
This operation was a complete failure.
Had she miscalculated?
At least one of those two rebel spiders was supposed to perish.
But neither did.
Where did it all go wrong?
No, she can say where.
It was mainly because of that black Ede Saine.
When had she become so powerful?
Since she lost control over those two, she couldn't use her Kin Control for anything more than knowing where they were at all times.
Apparently, during that time, the black Ede Saine mastered the element of death, Rot, and became incredibly strong.
She could sense the activation of a very strong barrier, more than any other she had ever felt that prevented her from unleashing her full power on that black plague.
A ruler's Skill?
Anyway, she must admit that she wasn't entirely focused during that little fight against the black Ede Saine, she was using Kin Control to see if her children would manage to deal with the white one.
But they failed.
The white plague managed to cling to her life.
While she was defeated in a very brutal way, for the first time in a long time.
This had not gone well at all.
Looking at her legs, which had already regenerated after the damage the black plague had done to them, the queen reflected.
First, she would need to repopulate her numbers.
Then she would have to ask her for help.
