"I'm curious. Do you know my name?"
The man raised his brows as Luca coughed continuously, pounding her fist against her chest. He instinctively reached for the glass of water and handed it to her. She accepted it, chugging it down almost immediately.
"You don't remember?" he asked with a frown, watching her look back at him with complexity in her eyes. "But I clearly remember your name."
Luca cleared her throat, ignoring Nova's remarks. She placed the glass back on the table, facing the man with a bit of shame. Not because she didn't have an answer to his query, but what was shameful was she had salacious thoughts just moments ago, but didn't even know his name.
"Sorry," she breathed out with difficulty, only to hear Nova click her tongue in disappointment.
"Sorry is not my name," the man corrected and shook his head. "You're breaking my heart, Luca."
