He looked to Saria who stood contemplating the situation halfway to her van, she got what she came for, but he could see she didn't like the outcome of the entire operation.

"I... I'm sorry" Pike said "I'm tempted to just take the van and go, the military isn't idiots Elaine, you want a cease fire, well you have it, I'm not sending another man in to be at risk"

Elaine glared at him and her tail gave a lash "Incase you've forgotten Lieutenant, I have you surrounded, either give me Nicolas, or you and all your men die here... Or you can join my pack, whichever you prefer" she said and smiled coldly.
