Chương 90: It was only a scout

The downed officer groaned one side as he regained consciousness, too soon he opened his eyes and they fell on the many wolves around the fire, horror flooded him and he started scrambling back vigorously miss-grabbing his radio unable to decide if it should be 'it' or his firearm.

Deno moved in a flash just as he uttered a first sound from his gasped terror and had him behind his neck, forced his eyes for contact and brought him into hypnotism "Calm down"

"Uh–! Uh... Okay..."

"This is merely a strange costume party you stumbled upon, you were so caught up in your duties you even thought you had a partner... But didn't... I commend your hard work officer, to come all this way out and into the desert for nothing"

The man slightly smiled "Oh, its all in a day's work I guess"

"I feel safer with a man like you watching over us" Deno said lifting him to his feet "Please officer, have a save shift"
