Chương 35: You're too human

Nicolas fell coughing but Deno felt no remorse, his glare came back to Bella who lowered her ears "I've seen a Luna!" He said and walked to her.

"I've see what she can do, that's the epiphany of courage, strength and pride, she took no shit from me! She didn't fear me! Beg me or ask me anything! I was at her mercy, I wanted her to be with me so badly I degraded myself from the throne of a lord and became scum!" He yelled and grabbed her muzzle.

Nicolas got to his feet rubbing his throat but saw Deno standing with her jaws in a palm.

"Little Belladonna, do not underestimate yourself! You do that now to build yourself up, think nothing of what you are now! But don't underestimate who you can be!"

She said nothing sitting obediently with her jaws shut, watching him closely "Now... Why did you stop, when Nicolai told you to? A human... They who hunted you down in cold blood"

"Deno!" Nicolas yelled.

"Silence!" He screamed back.
