Chương 5: Who will if not for us?
Upon hearing Ai Jie's words, Both Yang Yuan and Chen Jie Xuan don't know what to do. All they think of was to calm her down. They patted her back and tried hard to calm her down. All they can do is say a few words and that didn't help... It was like a storm stoked the place as a whole.

He brought the little angel to her room and made her sit in her bed. He sat down next to her. He took the mug and poured some water for her.
When she finished drinking it, Ai Jie stopped her sobs and stayed calm. He pulled her into his embrace and patted her head. His embrace was so warm that Ai Jie felt the warmth and care she wanted the most. After all, children are more sensitive when it comes to the matter of things related to Love, Care, and Protection from their elders.
He knows very well that she gets calm if she can hear the piano thus he took her tablet and played a piano Sonata No.1 of Mozart. After listening to it, She calmed down
Yang Yuan and Chen Jie Xuan who followed Grandpa Yang to Ai Jie's room were dumb folded on seeing what they saw. They have been trying to calm her down for half an hour. Not only did they fail to pacify her, but they also made her cry more. But within a few minutes, their grandpa made her calm.
when Grandpa Yang, Yang Lu Ping, saw that Ai Jie had calmed down. "Dear, Now tell me what happened?"

Ai Jie was silent for a few minutes. She lifted her eyes and took a glance at her parents who are standing at the door. She asked Yang Lu ping to bend. In a low voice, she spoke "Then Does Mommy and daddy don't want me? I heard servants talking that my mommy give birth to me by accident. Then doesn't that mean they don't want me and They don't love me?"
In his ears, Her words rang and broke his heart like shattered glass. He doesn't know how to answer her. The first reaction this old man had was an uncontrollable rage. This was the one thing that he want to hear never in his life. everyone knows that this is a taboo to speak about in the whole Grand manor. Yet, some people are talking about it. not only did they talk about it on his back, it even reached the ears of this little kid. Isn't this equal to courting death?
He tried hard to conceal his emotion and turned his head toward the people who are standing at the door. He pulled a smile and asked, "She is asking me whether you two love her? Answer her."
Both of them in unison said, " Of course, we love her. Who will love her if not for us?"
