Chương 144: Afterlife

"Now where were we?" Alina grinned, turning back to Beatrix who was silently watching the scene unfold before her eyes.

This was it. The moment that she'd leave this cruel world once and for all. She knew she was the one that Alina was going to get rid of.

The only thing that she could feel was the loud sound of her heart thumping against her chest.

Her heart beat for Damien and Rhys. She couldn't imagine what they were both going through right now. She glanced at Damien and saw how tense his body was.

"I'll f**king kill you!" Damien spat standing up to his feet as he stride towards Alina.

"Damien! No! Leave it!" Beatrix begged making him stop in his tracks 

"Awhh, would you look at that? Adorable. I'd say, I am getting all choked up. Fetch me a tissue." Alina snickered.

"You crazy bitch!" Damien retaliated.

"Damien!" Beatrix put in. "Stop!"

"Any last words?" Alina asked, loading the weapon that would soon end her life.
