The next day.
I was standing in three holes intentionally paid to bury my three friends. Those Elders decided quickly after the conversation I had yesterday with the female great elder and all the elves there.
The only ones here were me, Reginald, the two elven warriors. The older man came with an excuse to make sure I wouldn't break my promise.
At first, I asked them to use wood in order to make chests. However, Reginald refused. The older man said that the Dark Elf did not have enough wood, and he did not want to cut down any of the trees in this sacred forest.
"Black cloth is enough. We don't want to destroy the forest just because of your request," Reginald retorted.
"Your request is to bury them properly, right? So we're working on it," Reginald continued.
I nodded right when the older man said so. Although he didn't say anything wrong, his decision was also quite good by starting to bury my friend immediately.
