why is it over 100 pages and she is yet meet the child's father? so far I liked that there no white lotus and mean mother in laws. keep PG rated.

Absolutely love it so far 💕 I honestly don’t mind a slow paced story, the maybe inaccurate history details, or the long food details. It’ way better than having to read about ridiculous scheming families. I also love that we have some info of the ml but I love more that he has t appeared just yet. I’m loving the mother son moments. Also the fact that her kitchen (that followed her) isn’t some extravagant thing so far is nice.

I am really enjoying this charming tale about a single mother and her small son surviving in dinstant times. A side plot of the long missing father still alive and injured , longing to return home is making a sweet story line.

I really liked what I read so far it was very ente rtaining and the story is progressing in a pretty good pace in my opinion, I would like more scenes with the husband but overall it’s a good read

The story starts off very slow and there is a lot of emphasis on cooking. There might be 3 chapters in a row dedicated to food. Honestly, she accepted this husband way too fast. They haven’t told us why she stopped collecting his pension. The previous owner died due to lack of food. 🙄
