Chương 264: Not Your Fault

By the following morning, Jason still didn't want to see Layla or anyone else for that matter. Only the doctors and nurses were allowed into his room. Every other person that went in, he asked to leave including his grandparents. He even shouted at his grandparents.

"He hates me, you told him my father was the one who shot him didn't you?" Layla asked Mason as they stood outside Mason's room.

"He wanted to know."

"You promised me you were going to allow me to be the one to talk to him about it myself," Layla sounded tearful. 

"He wanted to know who shot him, what was I supposed to say? Your girlfriend will be the one to tell you about it?"

Layla wanted to correct him that they weren't dating but didn't see the point.

"He hates me for it, that's the reason he doesn't want to see me."
