Mason stood at the door of their guest room and continued to knock on it but Ava refused to answer him.

"Ava, please open the door, let's talk about this," Mason pleaded with her.

Mason could see her shadow from underneath the door, as she was moving about the room.

"You know silent treatment won't solve this, right?" He released a ragged breath and pulled his fingers through his hair as he tried to come up with a way to make Ava open the door for them to talk.

He doesn't know what Nancy must have said to her, but he felt bad that she decided to take Nancy's words over his, she didn't even give him the chance to do for himself, before she drew the conclusion that he was cheating on her.

"Ava, things aren't always as they seem. Let's talk about this, please open up," he pleaded, still knocking on the door.
