"Why are you smiling?" Vanessa heard Alex ask, and she glanced over to see him amusedly staring at her.
"Uhm, nothing. Just... nothing important." She said with an embarrassed blush. She raised a brow at him, when he kept staring at her. He seemed like he had something to say, but he sighed and looked ahead, his chin tipping forward.
"Let's order some takeout here." He said, drawing Vanessa's attention to the building they were suddenly parked in front of, and that's when she realized he had pulled over. "Come on," he beckoned on her before stepping out of the car.
Vanessa squinted as she observed the restaurant before them, before stepping out.
Her eyes coursed around the small restaurant that was stationed in a alley. It had a canopy extension at the front with tables and chairs where customers were currently seated. The place was busy like a mini market, and Vanessa wondered if they were really going to eat there.
