In the early hours of the morning, the Mercedes was speeding towards the suburbs on an almost empty road. Declan's gaze was fixated outside the window. He was undoubtedly eager to meet the donor, but he was anxious at the same time.

The past would be even more disturbing than he had imagined. Everything was going to be revealed soon. His agitation grew as the car rolled toward the suburban area.

The road was getting narrower than the highway. But the area had lots of greenery. The sky looked clearer and the air seemed fresher.

He rolled down the glass to enjoy the cold breeze as if he was trying to cool himself down.

Francis glanced at him from time to time while driving. "We will be there in a few minutes," he said after a long silence. "His daughter is not very cooperative. She seems like a greedy woman. She wouldn't let us meet Mr. Paul until I gave her some money."
