Through his lawyer, he released a public statement after he left the hospital, apologizing to the Ong's, the Tang's and the Fang's and also to the public as he never knew he was harbouring a criminal in his home, and that he was also a victim.

Thankfully, Zhang Renshu didn't have a lot to worry about now that Song Jujing was around to take care of things on his behalf.
