"I took a cold shower. I was feeling hot here," He replied and Yun Meiyi's gaze darted to the temperature of the AC. It was set at 17 degrees. If he needed a cold shower at this temperature then it was not hard to tell what might have remained the reason behind it. 

Yun Meiyi flustered, registering the reason. Rubbing her nose, she cleared her throat. "Fine. Go and get dressed first, otherwise you will catch a cold." She said before getting down and sprinting her way to the washroom.

Lu Xifu didn't see her expression before; hence he didn't know what misunderstanding he created. After coming back earlier, he was having a hard time holding back his fury. He wanted to strangle the life out of that valueless human body. 

But he couldn't because of her words. For she thought that she would handle it better than him.
